MT/KB Japan Recent fights/results/news from Japan II

Maybe, but by that thinking would Alamos or Sari count as 'farang'? I think they're both of Persian or Algerian or Moroccan decent or whatever, at any rate I doubt they're Caucasian. And Mendoca probably isn't white either.
Well, Sari has an Algierian surname, Alamos a Spanish one, and the Brazilian guy is bound to have a mixed ancestry. Its not a scientific taxon though, it a taxon formed by Thai cultural perception. If you are perceived to be farang by most Thais, I suppose you simply are farang.

Alamos has roots Chile from what remember

OMG forgot Superlek was fighting in Japan. Didn't he fight like a week ago against Seksan:

What's so surprising? The guy is fortified with farm hand genetics. I say give him ANOTHER fight this month. He's built for this...

Usually by the time fighters reach Superleks age they slow down and fight once a month instead of once a week or 2.

Anyone knows remembers the name of the fighters in this one? I google-translated it and it is "Katsuji vs Yonyutto", I couldn't identify them just based on that lol

Not sure....ヨーユット is all i have. Karaev Fan might know. Seems like another thai that moved overseas to teach and fights on the local circuit on the side.

The Japanese is Katsuji (full name Takahashi Katsuji) of Fujimoto Gym. 31-11-7 and current NJKF Japan LW champ.

The Thai is Yongyuth B-Family Neo. As AbeRudder said, he's a former stadium ranker who basically went over to Japan to be a coach/mid-tier Japanese hunter. I think Yongyuth has been fighting in Japan mostly since 2009 or so. He actually had a bit of a MMA career when he was unable to get KB fights and although he was unsuccessful overall, I think he won a minor regional title (Tribelate). He also has a win over Yamato Tetsuya as well.

Genji Umeno new Ratchadamnern stadium 135 lb champ beating Yodlekpet Or Pitisak on points tonight in Japan

How did he look so ordinary against Yasuyuki but able to beat guys like Muangthai and Yodlekpet? I'd like to see him fight in Thailand again, he was looking good in both fights but came up short.

Genji is known as a bit of a diva in Japan. He's known to take fights vs. Thais super seriously but belittles Japanese fighters and makes excuses when he underperforms vs, them. Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't really take Yasuyuki seriously.

Tetsuya Yamato was supposed to fight Kongsak SItboonme on Oct 30, but suffered an injury in training. Instead, his gymmate Yamato Shingo will be fighting Kongsak.

damn it! kongsak is never gonna get that wbc belt

The best outsiders need to fight competitively more in Thailand. Umeno is certainly the best fighter not from Thailand and needs more fights in Thailand. If Umeno produced a decent run there he could end up as the GOAT outsider. This is the only stage where you can know a Thai will fight seriously. Not saying Yodlekpet didn't, but you see it all the time when Thais go elsewhere.

A C+ for effort. Didn't totally mail it in, but was content to never go beyond 3rd gear. Umeno always a step ahead.
