Reasons why Jon popped (from a PED user)

Only people who question the testing have never competed in sports or haven't used.

Jon has been cheating for a LONG TIME.

Clomid isn't found in supplements. There are numerous masking agents, and in these tests they don't test for every banned substance every time. He got caught.

Not to mention his test levels were incredibly low when he fought daniel the first time. Victor Conte called out JOnes and everyone knows he ran from the drug testers under the octagon.

There is a reason why he downplays steroids and pushes the coke thing. He doesn't want his legacy questioned, and now it is.

No, it doesn't.

Common sense says that you can not make absolute statements about what literally thousands of people are doing.

Lol where are you again? Oh you're on sherdog, where people makes posts about their opinions .

He isn't an expert witness providing testimony in a court of law.

I take issue with blanket statements as sports are a vital part of my life.

Yes, I know of MANY PEOPLE who partake of various PEDs, but it's not as super rampant as commonly believed.

It is super rampant. Look at cycling. Everyone in the top 50 had there names removed from the tour for like a 10 year period. Numerous big name athletes in mma have been caught. Anderson, Jones, Brock, Frank Mir, Forrest, Vitor. These guys aren't chumps. Naive to think the top aren't doing stuff

I've helped train people casually AND in lab settings.

That said, obviously there is cheating in pro sports, but again...it's not a pre-requisite.

Ironically, when I was in high school it was the naturally talented athletes that generally DID NOT cheat.

That doesn't make sense. Of course naturally talented athletes are going to be the ones less likely to use peds in high school. The cream rises to the top (NCAAD1 & pro) where there is parity; peds help separates from that level or help from falling behind.

No but my gf wrecked my ford fiesta in to another ford fiesta on the parking lot recently and fled the scene. Does that count?
Is that a true story? If so, that would be funny since those 2 cars mashed together would make a normal sized car.

Overeem went from being a lanky LHW to having the body of a PED using Heavyweight bodybuilder. The fact that I'm not foolish enough to think that all of the top athletes are cheating does not mean I must've believed Overeem was clean.

Again you being deficient in being unable to distinguish sarcasm and opinion is quite apparent.

I guess 'sarcasm' is your fallback for every dumb or untrue statement. I'll just assume everything you say is sarcastic from here on out.

"That being said - there is not one top athlete in the world that is clean. Everybody is looking for an edge."

That's simply untrue.

I know people (men and women) who play pro sports that aren't into PEDs.

But hey, you're a bodybuilder...NOT an athlete, so what would you know?

...not much at all.

Not EVERY pro athlete is a cheater.

Period.
If these people you know were into peds, do you think they are going to tell you?

People should read up on Frank Thomas. Not only was he one of baseballs best hitters during the 90's, he was the biggest voice when it came to drug testing. In '95, when baseball had no testing he wanted his own players union to blood test every single major leaguer. He was the only current Major Leaguer to participate in the Mitchell Report. He was the 'voice' when it came to wanting steroid testing, in a time when baseball commissioner Bud Selig after hearing Franks stance on steroid abuse goes on record with this gem: "If baseball has a problem, I must say candidly we are not aware of it."
I suggest you can be at the top of a sport without the aid of steroids.

He isn't an expert witness providing testimony in a court of law.

And occasionally people make posts that are based on reason and objective truth.

Like I said deficient and now argumentative purely out of spite.

Thanks for writing this up! Interesting read and it's very appreciated.

Got to meet the Big Hurt, a very nice man.

Yeah, it's called autocorrect. Much different than derailing an interesting thread with your bullshit.

Good day.

Don't blame your own mistake on a computer program. That's not fair. Just admit you had no idea which word to use.
