Real Talk: Conor McGregor UFC 200 Situation

Just because two people talked crap doesn't mean they are the same. He didn't copy no one, he has his own style all the way. If anything he copied that one model with his tattoos and haircut lol. But nah that Ali is far off. And he's far from a one trick poney, he has great boxing, decent kicks mostly used for set ups and to keep his opponents guessing, athleticism, and a unique approach to the game. And I believe his skillset will continue to rise especially since he's very intelligent and aware of the damage associated with MMA and hard sparring.
dude you love conor :-)

he is not original. he has used the blueprint of many that went before him, for example the Floyd MONEY Mayweather persona, when it comes to promoting...

No, I'm not talking about damn stats, championships, defenses which he has 0. None of that. No one has came to the UFC and blown up so quick and put this shit mainstream. Lesnar almost did it but not to this level nearly, Conor is a whole different character.

He literally captivated the whole MMA scene and took the show by the balls and did what he wanted with it as a featherweight. I've been watching MMA since PRIDE, my favorite fighter being Sakuraba, and I've never ever seen a character like him.

The fact you guys hate on him is pretty damn funny, I remember when everyone used to call the Diaz brothers "whining punks who complain and make excuses", now everyone loves Nate suddenly.

Yeah, Conor is probably a bit shook but what do you expect out of a damn obsessive physco? He looked at his loss and is looking at everything that went wrong and is trying to fix it. The media excuse is pretty lame because it's a HUGE part of what he used to make himself.

But at the end of the day, I wanna see the fight and I'm not paying for UFC 200 unless Conor vs Diaz is on it. I WANT to see Conor go to Stockton and deal with all the madness he put other fighters through in Ireland. I want to see the WHOLE show.

So lets stop with the BS, and recognize things for what they are. Conor is Conor, love him or hate him (which everyone seems to hate now when just a couple months back we're blowing his.. you know the rest) is the SHOW.

He's always been moved by the money, Dana make him a REAL offer he can't refuse (Godfather style) and lets see the damn show go on, promoting the fight included. Dana needs to step it up, I know Conor says this has nothing to do with money, but trust me if the money gets doubled, he's gonna rethink things. Work it out, make it happen.

End of the day, Conor is the biggest character MMA has ever seen period. Go on flame away, idgf I call it like I see it.
Biggest character is right. It's all an act. Cloner is fake as fuck.

Conor is gonna call Dana a Geed and Dana will realize that it's true. Then Conor will fight at UFC 200. My prediction of what will happen.

Actually rooted for Diaz going into the fight, I don't love anybody, I like MMA and whoever makes me want to watch it. Conor was able to do that pretty well. I just want UFC 200's main event to go on. And Mayweather doesn't even say carry himself or promote his fights remotely close to Mayweather, you must've not followed his career. They are two completely different guys, why does everyone want to say Conor is like Ali and Floyd?

You guys always bring up the biggest names in boxing and say he copied him when the way he talks and carries himself is completely different. Like I said before, if you want to look like you know anything about what your talking about, look up Naseem Hamed and try that one. He's more similar to Prince Nas than anyone, but Conor has his own complete style when it comes to promoting himself. Stop with that nonsense and guessing, thats all opinion.

I want to see the rematch period but I have to admit I want to see the actual lead up to the fight. I want to see Conor forced to talk after being beat. What does he have to say? I'm going to destroy you, when Nate embarassed him? I want to see him in Stockton. Just show the guy the money, everyone knows money makes Conor move. I wanna see the whole theatric event, that's what makes Conor so special.

I can skip just about every other fighters lead up to a fight and press conferences, I still watch them but no one comes close to Conor. Imagine Conor's trash talk now, what will he have to say? He's trying to avoid that because he doesn't know what to say and he doesn't believe it now. He knows he has to focus on training to beat Diaz because Diaz is stylistically a bad match up for him.

People don't understand that but that's cause their mostly ignorant. Hope your predication is true man.

Sorry not for me, I would still rather see him defend the belt vs someone like Aldo or Frankie

Frankie would most likely maul him (See Swanson vs Edgar) unless Conor can catch him on the stand up, and Aldo would be a good fight in my opinion. But with that being said, I want Conor to have to stand up and talk in the face of adversity and see how he reacts in Stockton, etc. I want to see THIS fight.

I actually CAN'T STAND Tyson Fury. He does flash luxury but there very different in the way they conduct themselves, Conor is a mega draw for a reason and it's not just watching videos of Mayweather. Floyd's been about the money and doesn't say outlandish stuff like Conor does, he says what's up and that's it. He actually brags about eating fast food and still whooping everyones ass.

To those saying Conor is a bigger draw than Ronda, no. The answer is no.

Conor could not sell out a 50,000 seater in Austrailia against a nobody.

Conor would have trouble selling out a 15,000 seater in Brazil against a nobody.

It's easy to sell out Vegas when you're fighting the greatest FW of all time and a huge cult favorite, with an amazing co-main event underneath. It's also Vegas, people go there for fights, part of the culture.

Fuck yeah he is. I'm fighting a bigger man blah blah blah. Nate wanted to fight at 155. Conor held a 155 belt in another organization. Conor's the one who said let's do at 170 again. Now he's saying he can't take a week out for promotion because he has to prepare for a bigger man when the fight is three fucking months away.

'Real Talk' is an official disclaimer for bullshit.

Like people who say "I keep it real. 100" are usually the biggest liars you will ever meet.
