But at the end of the day, I wanna see the fight and I'm not paying for UFC 200 unless Conor vs Diaz is on it. I WANT to see Conor go to Stockton and deal with all the madness he put other fighters through in Ireland. I want to see the WHOLE show.

So lets stop with the BS, and recognize things for what they are. Conor is Conor, love him or hate him (which everyone seems to hate now when just a couple months back we're blowing his.. you know the rest) is the SHOW.

He's always been moved by the money, Dana make him a REAL offer he can't refuse (Godfather style) and lets see the damn show go on, promoting the fight included. Dana needs to step it up, I know Conor says this has nothing to do with money, but trust me if the money gets doubled, he's gonna rethink things. Work it out, make it happen.

End of the day, Conor is the biggest character MMA has ever seen period. Go on flame away, idgf I call it like I see it.

We are seeing this terrible rematch as a freak show because Conor wanted.
To blame it on the media when he won so many fights doing this circus is asinine, but whatever.
the problem is: he is already getting paid. And he accepted the deal.
Now he is trying to change it...

that's on him.
For all I care, take him out of the 200, and it will force Zuffa give us better matches.

Hey, you atleast make sense. I personally still want to see the show, including the media obligations. You got a good point on Conor agreeing to it, but he's p*ssying out of the media obligations because he knows he won't have much material and doesn't want to waste his mind focusing on trash talk like he usually does. We know one thing, money makes Conor move and I believe the right amount of money could do it, but I appreciate a real response.
 
McGregor's a hypocrite. That's real talk. He gives absolutely 0 fucks about fans, then blows in their ears to get them on his side. He completely lambastes other fighters for pulling out of fights due to injuries, then pulls out of a fight over money.

Some good points, "testicle-cuddling" no, I just wanna see the damn show and I'm not buying UFC 200 is Diaz vs McGregor 2 isn't on the card. If you can't grasp that concept, you're pretty ignorant.
 
Who cares if he is the biggest "persona" in MMA? Ronda Rousey and Brock would be like 2 and third and no one cares about them now.

You have to understand the difference between a fad and an MMA legend. The fad gets a crazy amount of attention for a short period of time, an MMA legend gets a regular good amount of attention for a long period of time.

McGregor is a fad that will eventually fade away like all the rest. Current legends like Aldo and Jones will remain for a long time in the MMA community.

Just look at the amount of Fedor threads we still have, and the guy had his reign ended 7 years ago. How many Brock Lesnar threads do we have in comparison to Fedor's?

I do not disagree with you though.
But the money was already agreed upon, and that's why I don't agree with his change of stance.
Don't get me wrong, I even understand WHY he is doing it, and can see his point.

But IMHO, he demanded this fight! He already signed the contract.
He can't simply now try to get out of the hting that made him famous.

Because even though he is an exciting fighter, he is not unbeaten and the only reason he is making way more than any other fighter is exactly due to his media obligations that he welcomed up until now (and up until now was never an issue for him).

Don't get me wrong though.
I would have LOVED to see how he would behave on the press conferences against someone who beat him mentally and physically in their prior fight (on my assessment, feel free to disagree).
But if he doesn't want to do what he has already agreed, I DO agree with Dana into taking him out of this event. It is simply a too big event to not deliver the hype it deserves... and IMO his fight would do best on a card made specifically for one event, with everything else revolving around this fight...

He (Conor) was pushed and pretty much copied the Ali persona and was a one trick poney. He would act hard and try to bully the other fighters and fanboyz loved it. Media jumped all over it because he is comical and brash especially for an Irish fighter. Really it's the same.

Just because two people talked crap doesn't mean they are the same. He didn't copy no one, he has his own style all the way. If anything he copied that one model with his tattoos and haircut lol. But nah that Ali is far off. And he's far from a one trick poney, he has great boxing, decent kicks mostly used for set ups and to keep his opponents guessing, athleticism, and a unique approach to the game. And I believe his skillset will continue to rise especially since he's very intelligent and aware of the damage associated with MMA and hard sparring.

First of all TS. Shee didn't copy anyone, she has her own style all the way. If anything she copied the olympic athletes because of her tattoo t lol. But nah that Diaz stuff is far off. And she's far from a one trick poney, she has great submissions, decent takedowns mostly used to set up the submission, athleticism, and a unique approach to the game. And I believe her skillset will continue to rise especially since she's very intelligent and aware of the damage associated with MMA and hard sparring.

What happened to Rousey? listen IMO, we dont know who is the GOAT draw etc. both numbers were rising and rising...

IMO Rousey did great numbers with utterly shit cards. Potentially Rousey vs an undefeated Holm would have done higher numbers than McG vs Nate 2!!!

we dont know yet, but it is between Rousey, McG and Maybe Lesnar...
