Enjoyed the book much more.

Movie felt rushed.

Truthfully I don’t think it hit any nostalgia chords at all. Everything was shown way too fast to even hit.

Maybe Goro and the chestburster, but everything else fell flat.

[Brodels]

Finished the book that and just finished the abysmal movie. Other than some licensing issues, why did they feel the need to completely fuck up the storyline? I was really excited to see what I imagined come to life on the screen but they failed miserably at that. The only thing they included from the book was Mechagodzilla and it didn't even look right. The rest of the movie was completely different.
