Nope I'm not just talking about getting injured, we all know Kings MMA and Nova Uniao both train like fools and spar hard 2 weeks before title fights, but hey injuries happen...No, what I'm talking about is flat out lying for 2/3 days that he was injured. According to Sherdog article he broke his foot late last week.

News broke Tuesday morning that UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos (25-7) broke his foot late last week and will be unable to defend his crown against McGregor (19-2) at UFC 196 on March 6. It was first reported by MMAFighting.com.

Go look at the guys twitter

Multiple posts hyping the fight since the end of last week when he and his team KNEW he wasn't going to be able to fight with a broken foot. Call it fighter bashing all you want but that is total bullshit. Bad enough he pulled out, but to pull something like that shows the character of the man. Typical Brazilian, talks about God, Jesus, Respect, etc but when it comes down to it his actions are that of a scumbag.

Maybe he thought he could still make fight night but the training made the injury worse. Is RDA known for backing out due to injury? I don't remember him doing it before. I don't think he's ducking Conor.

Does it really matter when we heard the news? We're mad because the news exists, period.

So, RDA losses all credibility because he got injured?
GTFO!

do you remember Hendo hiding his knee injury for "weeks" before finally pulling out of the Jones fight?

Conor fan here, but i don't blame RDA. He broke his foot. The reason for the delay might be that they didn't know if it was broken. Sometimes you don't find out right away, it takes time.

Dude have you ever broken your foot? There is no way after doing it he would've been allowed to fight in 2 weeks, dude can probably barely stand at the moment. I don't blame him for getting injured it's a rough sport and that shit happens but to cover it up for a few days is just a dirtbag move however you slice it.

Common sense.

TS think about what you're saying. What does RDA stand to gain by continuing to hype a fight he thinks he can't participate in? Is it going to make the fans happy? Nope. Dana & Co? Nope. So you're criticism makes no sense. The only thing you could rightly criticize him for, maybe, would be being stubborn about trying to push through the injury and not accepting that it was bad enough he couldn't fight with it.

If the mods do their jobs, you will get carded at the very least.

No one announces an injury until they are certain that they can't compete, which takes some time: consultation/x-ray, talks with Dana and most importantly, Dana's go-ahead to announce the news. You should be carded simply for being a clueless dope.

Why is that a dirt bag move? Maybe the UFC didn't want him to say anything right away. You don't know what's going on behind the scenes. And ultimately who cares if he didn't say anything for a couple of days, what difference does it make?

If he got injured Friday, he probably had medical treatment over the weekend, and when he realized he couldnt fight for sure, he probably cancelled then. Im a Conor fanboy, and even I think you should relax lol.

Sherdoggers taking away RDA's credibility :D

Dude, thank you for talking sensibly. Why can't more Conor fans have your temperament? I talk a lot of shit to irrational Conor fans so i sure as hell am going to call you out for being a quality dude

Dude you know how long an x ray takes? I've broken my ribs in BJJ and knew about it two hours later, this guy is a professional athlete and still keeps hyping a fight 3 days after he knew his foot was broken? The least he could've done was to keep quiet on all fronts.
