I watched a video on Jeepers Creepers not too long ago, that explained what inspired the movie.
But the creepiest thing about that movie is the director, look into it but be warned that guy is the real creeper lol.

I think the figure itself is based on a real life killer actually. But Jeepers Creepers is probably the most disappointing franchise I know of, because the first movie was so good I was scared shitless for weeks as a boy after watching it. The second one was okay but nothing compared to the first and all the others afterwards were just really meh.

Yeah. The director is a real scumbag. Sucks because the first one is legit very good horror. I just rewatched it recently and it held up very well.

It is free on youtube right now. At least in the US. Second one too. I agree the second was a step down but not bad.

Yeah it is still pretty good, that scene where he discovers that building with all the bodies on the walls was probably the scariest thing I saw up to that point. I remember being too scared to play the song on youtube because of the movie lol.
