But never winning the belt will damage his legacy. He will mostly be known for winning the trilogy with Conor..

Had he beat Charles I thought he was a legit HOF fighter.. Now not so much IMO..

Yes and no.

Max is a elite win at FW, not as much at LW.

Conor would’ve been a elite with win around 2015-2018, not in 2021.

Also Conor and Max looked very competitive against Dustin, he never dominates his opponents.

two ex champions, and he finished mcgregor twice.

I think he's an all time top5 LW, up there with BJ, Mcgregor, Khabib, Ferg etc.

Only weak point is that he's not a great wrestler and his sub game isn't spectacular. But easily one of the most well rounded fighters and one of the best ever at 155.

This somewhat hot-take will also russtle some jimmies, but I think he is a better all time Lightweight than BJ Penn and has better wins at Lightweight.

Hes an elite lw , has been and currently only loses to champ, mak & dari.

The longevity of his evolution and where he currently still is puts him on the all time 155 list.I dont know exactly where but he gets a decent placing in my book.

Only knock is back sub defense and lackluster fight IQ. Those are major gaps though if you're a top 5 Fighter in a deep division.
