An elite championship-level fighter, one of the best, but not the best of the best.

One of the best just not the best. Wins over max and Conor twice, eddie, and gaethje is damn impressive

solid top5'er
poor decision making outside of his boxing and mcdonalds black bjj belt didnt allow him to win the title so far

Underrated.he almost submitted khabib and almost koed him and has lots of notable wins.

8-8.5

He checks almost all the boxes on a technical level, he just has some decision making blunders in big fights. His TDD also isn't the best, so it's hard to give him a solid 9, even though I'd like to.

Many people on here underrate him for some reason, the dudes reune speaks for itself. I agree with those claiming he's surpassed BJ just based on resume.

To me the only fighters deserving of a solid 10 are Yan and Volkanovski. Khabib should be a 10 fighter, but we just didn't see him compete against top level fighters long enough. That said, I guess he takes one by default since he retired undefeated.

He is a real good fighter. He has made his boxing work for him in the cage. He has physical issues that might limit his grappling and wrestling.

He is never going to be undisputed champ. decent fighter but that’s about it. Chokes when the big moments arrive
You do not think he in the top 15% of UFC fighers? LW is a notoriously difficult division.

Miller
Pettis
Gaethje
Alvarez
Holloway

You dont think thats impressive? In what world is it not?

The guy you're quoting rarely wants to make sense.

He may be top 5% but just like Tony Feg, they both won’t taste undisputed gold. They are very good, but just not quite in the championship level.
Tony, I will say, could potentially have been champ in his long run but was unfortunate to never get a shot at Pettis, Eddie, RDA, Conor when they were champs. He would likely have won.I still think Dustin would have found a way to lose. Nothing against Dustin, he just chokes in championship fights

Lucky to make top 10 all time. Career ranking of 7 out of 10

I feel like Dustin has been a bit overrated these last few years. In my opinion he’s a really good fighter, but definitely not great or exceptional.

He’s a big, not huge LW, with good power and good cardio. Good striking and decent BJJ, but with very average wrestling.

Most of his best wins have been wars and a majority of them could’ve went either way. He’s never been dominant or on a impressive win streak. He has a lot of loses and some aren’t even to the best fighters in the division.

TBH I wouldn’t bet on him to beat guys like Islam, Tsarukyan, Gamrot or Guram.

What are your thoughts on Dustin?
I think Holloway and McGregor x2 are very elite wins

He’s great for an American fighter, but just good overall. Not good enough to compete with the elite, but the “best of the rest”.

Great for an American? He would be a god here in Europe then. European men have some weak-ass chins

Yes and no.

Max is a elite win at FW, not as much at LW.

Conor would’ve been a elite with win around 2015-2018, not in 2021.

Also Conor and Max looked very competitive against Dustin, he never dominates his opponents.
