The newer movies have much better vfx and cinedmatography, acting, action sequences, all the building blocks that go into making a film are of a higher caliber on the new movies

They just fundamentally fucked up on what the premise should be

Episodes 7-9 should have been a continuation of Luke, Leia, and (to a lesser degree) Hans stories.

Instead they chose to focus on some random kid because thats where the money is these days - kids.

3. Return of the Jedi -- cause its a fitting end to the saga that touches all the right chords.
4. Revenge of the Sith -- the Anakin/Kenobi arc was great, classic, and the lovely ANH ending.
5. The Phantom Menace -- Darth Maul, Dual of the Fates, Pod Race, you know the rest...
6. Attack of the Clones -- YODA
7. The Force Awakens -- Derivative but introduced three decent characters which were superbly cast.
8. Rise of the Skywalker -- Liked the big three and Driver, D-0, Badu Frik, the rest was lipstick on a pig
9. The Last Jedi -- A complete shit show. Nobody asked for an iconoclastic Star Wars movie.

Really, I only watched the prequels, Caravan of Courage and A New Hope. I want to watch Last Jedi just to troll here, but I'm never in the mood.

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith

The last of the first 6 Star War movies directed by George Lucas. To me, it was by far the best story and movie from beginning to end. By this time, Lucas had all the money and special effects technology he needed. The other 5 movies had some that were good and others that were absolutely horrible. All 5 had portions of the story that were poor unlike the 6th movie.

Hayden Christensen was the worst actor of all time. You could have put a block of wood into the role of Annakin/Vader and it would have done a better job. There is a reason he (basically) never got work in Hollywood again after Star Wars.

I say he was the worst actor of all time, that is until this new guy (I don't even know his name) that plays Kylo Ren came along.

It's like they go out of their way to find the shittiest actors ever to play these roles.
