I was thinking that too, but it was run by Miguel Iturrate. Maybe they "co-promoted" with M-1 :icon_chee

I really liked it when Dream and Strikeforce were going strong. Such a good variety of fights back then.
 
WEC. 2nd. Best org of all time, it was better than the UFC and every other org at 170 and down. (170 is a stretch but possibly)

Yes.
Cauz I read in the russian wiki page that before "M-1 global: Breakthrough" that was held in USA M-1 always co-promoted.

I even found this:

but is possible that casually the first complete name of M-1 was "M-1: Mix-Fight Championship" as a whole.
