Rank JDM, Buck, Shavkat, Garry and Brady 1-5

Obviously it's not a race it was not my intention to make it sound as such. I was simply saying that we don't know Leon's mental going into this fight, we don't know how much losing his belt and losing to Belal affected him. Where as Sean was still riding his momentum he built up after losing to Belal and feeling very confident.

I agree we don't know. I was just saying we can't claim "Leon was just terrible that night" in a vacuum because part of the reason he looked so terrible was because of how good Brady was.

I agree. Sean looked like a world beater that night hats off to him. I'm just not 100% convinced Sean would be able to do that to someone at the top of the division who isn't Leon. Yes I know Leon was former champ and the guy is good, I'm not down playing Leon, or Sean's win when I say "who isn't Leon". What I mean by that is someone who performs more consistently and isn't dependent on what version of themselves show up that night. I'd need to see Sean fight one more contender before I put him over Shavkat, I'd also need to see how JDM does against Belal first too before I put him over JDM as well.

I favor Sean to beat them all at this point (maybe not Belal because it's pretty tough to get the image of their pretty recent fight out of my head--but I guarantee it would be a lot more competitive). But yes, for sure we don't know until some of these top 5 guys fight each other.

Well we may not agree on everything but I think what we can both agree on is WW is exciting again. Probably one of the best divisions right now IMO. Also one of the few divisions where we can actually have discussions like this where it isn't painfully obvious in regards to who beat's who.

100% agree

Interesting thatt you put Sean above Shavkhat haha

Brady was way more impressive in his last outing obviously, but also Shavkat is having pretty major surgery. I think they're clearly 1-2, and I think either way is okay.

Brady is the only UFC fighter Belal was able to finish in his entire career
Anyone can be finished. GSP, Mighty Mouse, Aldo, Fedor, etc, etc. It honestly doesn't mean anything. You can tell Brady learned a lot during that fight because ever since, he's become a killer. By the time they fight, Belal will be a little older and more war-torn.

Usman vs Buckley or Buckley vs Machado/Garry. Book it Dana!

1. Brady
2. Buckley
3. Ian Garry
4. JDM
5. Shavkat

Brady and Buckley are million times better than the rest. the main reason for that is the difference in physical strength.

how u see brady beating the other guys?

Similar to what he just did to Leon. Seems like he's turned a corner and can use his hands to close distance and once he gets ahold of dudes he's taking them down and dominating.

Shavkat and Brady are the only ones with elite talent on that list.

Garry is alright.

JDM is another spoonfed Aussie guy getting push because of his passport.

Buckley is just a dude beating up shopworn 45 year olds coming off losses, his rudimentary skillset is an insult to MMA.
