Rambo: Last Blood

I was just looking at some reviews of Rambo Last Blood and 'surprise, surprise', most reviewers were complaining about the 'misogyny and racism' in the film because Rambo is killing Mexican Cartel members?! I'm pretty sure Rambo isn't killing men, women, and children who are coming over to the U.S illegally in the movie so what's the problem?

Remember you have to think like a super white woke liberal when watching these movies. If the main character is a straight white male then 'misogynist!!!' If ANY of the villains are minorities and also shown in a poor light then 'RACIST!!!' And this definitely holds true for Rambo movies which have always been a shining beacon of diversity and extremely layered villains......lol

Reminds me of when Resident Evil 5 came out and some people were in an uproar because Chris Redfield was a big white dude killing a bunch of zombie Africans. No one said a word about Leon Kennedy killing a bunch of Spanish zombies in Resident Evil 4 though. Maybe because they were "Europeans" who spoke Spanish and not Central Americans.

It's just like what South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker were talking about with all the uproar over Dave Chappelle's Sticks and Stones. These people don't really have a serious problem with the movie they just have to say those things to keep their paychecks in the current climate.

I vaguely remember that there was some complaining about RE4

Damn, the pacing of last blood and Rambo (4th installment) have been on fucking point. It's over the top, full throttle with no fucks given to character development - but they pace them so well. It's not constant bombardment like John Wick but you definitely won't get bored waiting for the next kick assery scene.

I wasn't as caught off guard by the the sadistic violence as I was by the last movie; probably because I was expecting it this time...but it's still fairly hardcore.

8/10

Also, all the sjw crying in msm reviews makes it extra delicious. I usually ignore when people say trump derangement syndrome but holy shit, the guardian and rolling stone went full TDS.

The last Rambo was pretty neat

Remember when the gunboat shows up and the goon says:

Bluuh!
Best line of the movie!

I liked Last Blood better, honestly. It has a lot of the gore of Rambo IV, but the revenge element to this story is just so much more satisfying.

Ya but does Last Blood have a prime Julie Benz in it ;)

This movie is reverse phycology , to scare the Mexicans into building the wall themselves to keep Rambo out.

I've still never seen OG Rambo

First Blood is actually a good movie.

Every sequel is pretty much corny garbage 80's action, which can still be enjoyable. The newest one and the one before it really crank up the gore to 11 though.

Where is the @Dragonlordxxxxx review??

LOL at some reviewer calling this a “MAGA fantasy where the heroes wear white hats and bad guys have dark skin”

Ole Sly really making people catch feelings with this one.

Just got back from an advanced screening with my wife. Best action movie since the first John Wick. Highly recommend it. The finale is a heart-stopper. Literally.

Halfway through the film my wife (an immigrant herself) shouted, "That's why we need a wall!" <45>

Anyway, great film. Check it out, you nancy boys.
Does rambos niece turn into a jane rambo with guns in the third act? I really want to see that movie unless it has some girl power bs. No spoilers please.

I saw the movie last night. Pretty depressing to be honest.

One thing that annoyed me was a blatant piece of misinformation in all the promotional materials:

Rambo doesn’t fight the cartel. At all.

The bad guys are a gang of sex traffickers. Low rent sex traffickers to boot. Their only involvement with drugs is the ones they give their victims to keep them under control.

Maybe they were trying to mask the fact that this film is basically a Taken ripoff.

Some guy at IGN complained about Mexico being portrayed as some violent slum filled wasteland...as if a good portion of it is not. I'd pay that guy to take a trip into the dark corners of Mexico.

Man, I hope this movie does extremely well, just to piss these people off even more.

First Blood was a very good movie. After that, it went downhill. Should’ve just kept the original ending with him dying. The rest have basically been a high budget Missing in Action.
First 2 were good, they’ve all been shit after that

What did she think of the scene that basically said "This is why a wall is a stupid fucking idea"?

Without going into spoilers... nope, she doesn’t.
