OK, I stand corrected. There are in fact people on the left that hold beliefs this extreme.

If the MAGA cult is about 20% of the adult population and the truly hateful extreme--like the guy who shot the protestor recently--represent, say, 1% of them, that's approximately 700,000 people. That doesn't sound at all unrealistic to me. A truly conservative estimate--pardon the pun--might be 100,000, IMHO. It seems likely to me to be quite a bit more. I don't think it's that extreme a belief in as much as there's more evidence for it than against it from what I can see.

I don’t think it was prowling around at night? All I’ve heard now (and this happened days ago) is that he shot him once through the door, then opened it to shoot him again in the head.

According to the victim's own statement he was shot in the head first and fell to the ground, then shot in the arm.

In the Yarl case the DA said publicly there was a racial component but he would not file a hate crime charge because the charges they did lay carry a harsher penalty so it would serve no purpose.

Was there an update I missed or are you talking about a different event?
