Repeat bans. People get banned and then just get a new profile. It takes them awhile to get to banning accounts.

Sad thing is, I'm pretty sure it's hitting console too. Not the blatant wall hacks and spin botting but keyboard/mouse users are rife on console. I still play from time to time but run into some real grade A bullshit now even on console.

I read something yesterday about why the cheaters keep returning to Siege. Germany has a law that a company can't ban someone that paid for a game for more than 15 days, no matter what they did. So the hackers are just changing their country of origin and come back cheating half a month later.

This is amazing news. Since your phone number is required to register your account, if you get banned you can't use that phone number for a new account.
It will also get rid of a lot of smurf accounts since only 1 account can be tied to 1 phone number.

Blizzard already has this and only allows certain carrier numbers to be allowed. You can't use prepaid carriers like Cricket, Boost, or Straight talk. That way you can't get banned, go get another SIM for $5, and get a new account. They also don't allow Google Voice or other VOIP numbers.
Hopefully Ubi uses this system as well.

I just want to play that map, it's always really fun but I queu'ed my rank placement matches with a different group than my usual 5 stack I play with... so I ended up a Plat III being hard carried while my main group are all Silvers so I can't play ranked with them lol.

For the Six Invitational 2022, we have updated the watch time requirements to earn Esports Packs. Please find all the details below:

From February 8 to 12, packs will drop accordingly:

• 1st pack will drop after 1 hour of watch time.

• 3rd pack will drop after 9 hours of watch time.
• 4th pack will drop after 13 hours of watch time.
