Quitting nicotine

Is normal. Nicotine is a stimulant, so kicking it can lead to short-term issues with concentration and gym performance. Had the same thing happen to me when I kicked the habit after smoking for about 5 or 6 years.

The good news is after this withdrawal period passed, I got into the best shape of my life. Went from having a poor gas tank to being an absolute gas station when it came to cardio. Also once I got the taste of nicotine out of my mouth, there was like a 6-month period where food tasted absolutely amazing, so enjoy that.
When did you performance come back to normal ? I am having basic fatigue. How long was your withdrawl ? The loss of energy

No I'm getting off the nicotine. Use zyn and than what ? Stop using it ? I vaped 0.3% nicotine liquid, a elf bar got 2%, so I already vaped the lowest possible dose. Now it's stopping entirely. Just checking in if anyone else had their gym performance decreased by a lot ? I don't got any headaches. Jusy slightly depressed mood and less energy.
It's all ok just what pisses me off that I can't properly work out and get stronger as I would like to.
Smoked for 21 years, quit and then vaped for almost 8 years. Quit in the middle of last year. My slowest record on strava was during that period.

What is strava ? So the withdrawl made you slower
App/website that monitors all your cardio based exercises so you could brag to your friends. Quitting made me lethargic. It's hard enough to wake up at 5am and do climbs when I had nicotine in my system. Without it, I just wanna go back to sleep. I had activities cut down from 4 a week to 4 a month. That might have contributed also to my sub par performance.

A good pre-workout powder will help with energy.
Nope. Not building 500 mg coffein a day addiciton. I drink 2-3 cups a day. I guess averaging 250 mg something. I know someone who drinks like 7-8 small cups. Nope. Plus it doesn´t work on me. Extra coffeine does nothing. I´m already immune.

So I quit nicotie since last monday. Was smoking 0.3% nicotine vape. Smoked for 7-8 years, cigarettes, one use vape and re fill vapes.

So day 8. Still feeling slightly depressed, nothing major, just not excited or happy, slightly negative. However what truly pisses me off is how my energy and strength in the gym has instantly decreased.

Went from 110 kg bench press x 7 to 90 kg x 7 within 3 days. Like instantly lost strength.

Never feeling energised, always slightly fatigued or call it off.

Does this take forever to be strong again ?

Who went trough this while working out.
Damn quitting smoking made you lose gains? I'm never quitting if that's the case.

How much did you used to smoke? That's a low percentage vape. I have a 2.0% nicotine vape which gives me a good buzz although prefer ones that are even stronger.

But I went from smoking a pack in 2 days to like a pack in a week. Smoke maybe 1 or 2 cigs a day. It's just the habit of smoking more than anything that's hard to quit. Seeing other people smoke makes me want to smoke. The nicotine buzz for me isn't all that enjoyable unless I'm high or drunk.

You got the hair transplant surgery a while back right? I thought people had to quit vapes/smoking that get the surgery for recovery and to get the most of the procedure?
