Elections Question about Elizabeth Warren

What would be the point of her doing this at all, then?

Obviously it's not a major deal, but I wouldn't just pass off a presidential candidate plagiarizing something as nothing. Kenny Florian lost a job over it. It happened to Biden in the past. It's more of a personality issue than policy.
Kenny lost his job because he plagiarized his work. It furthered his professional career and made him money. Biden plagiarized in law school and political speeches on the campaign trail. Being upset about this nothing cookbook is like being upset a 5th grader copied some math homework one time, it's petty and making a mountain out of a molehill because people can't address policy.

I'm not talking about being upset. I'm talking about acknowledging that plagiarism is wrong, and anyone who does it has the ability to lie even further.

Like I said, not a major deal, more about intangibles than policy, but I wouldn't defend it by saying "But Trump..." either. I don't like Trump, either, but he's irrelevant here.

I'm biased though because I can't stand an obvious panderer, and Warren is one of the worst at pandering for political points.

It's not irrelevant. It's just mud slinging. The people pushing this are the same people who excuse and bury every serious scandal of Trump's.

Is plagiarism OK now? I remember when it killed Biden's presidential campaign and led to Fareed Zakaria losing his job.
If she actually plagiarized the recipe, it is an issue imo. Obviously not for policy, but it continues to show how much she's willing to break her back to fit in.
Well, by all means, she should not be eligible to win a ribbon at the county fair.

It’s a fucking charity recipe book, ffs.

Plagiarism is plagiarism. I said it's not a major deal multiple times. I wouldn't ignore it completely, though.

Hello gentlemen. I have a couple of questions regarding Elizabeth Warren's recipe contributions to the Native American cookbook "Pow Wow Chow: A Collection of Recipes from Families of the Five Civilized Tribes: Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek & Seminole".

I had thought that Elizabeth Warren's version of the story is that her family told her from a young age that she had Native American heritage and passed special Native American recipes down to her.

Question 1: Are "Cold omelets with crab meat" and "Crab with Tomato Mayonnaise Dressing" really Cherokee recipes? I wasn't aware that Cherokee people ate mayonnaise or even crabs. I ask as I don't know much at all about Native American cuisine.

Question two: Given that the Elizabeth Warren's recipes are exact copies of those of a French named Pierre Franey which the New York Times published in 1979 (see image below), and given that Elizabeth Warren did not credit Franey for them even though they are word-to-word identical to Franey's, would it be fair to say that Elizabeth Warren plagiarized her recipes?

Based on cursory research, it seems that Elizabeth Warren copied three different recipes from the New York Times and contributed them to the "Pow Wow Chow" cookbook.

Thank you for your help.

Source for the above information.

after the Indian removal act a fair number ended up in the Pacific Northwest so crab is a possibility.

"charity recipe book"

Do you always make up details to protect politicians on your team?
I don’t always make up political facts...

But when I do, they are about r3cipe books!

Republicans don’t like liars you know. That’s why they voted for Mr Honesty. They can’t tolerate lying.

All politicians lie, at least Trump lies less often than most.

This must be the obligatory, Warren is in the lead so we must make her literally Hitler thread?

I think Biden will slip slip slip in the polls. In a desperation move, he will name either Kamala Harris or Stacey Abrams as his V.P. running mate to try and get the black and woman vote.

If it is close, Warren will announce Hillary Clinton as her running mate. They are talking a lot behind the scenes and Warren is benefiting from the Clinton machine currently.

Warren / Clinton - 2020 (Warren better have amazing security.)

Biden / Harris (or Abrams) 2020

Also, her cookbook sucks and she's a lying asshole.

With Biden's senility, the prospect of having her end up as the president will sink him completely imo. I really doubt she'll be anywhere near a VP position.

Not sure who this "guy" is, but love the fake "surprise" call when he is using a phone they gave him and there is a camera on a tripod and a crew and lighting in there. She is a disgusting farce. And "he" is, well, a typical Warren supporter like any other, I'd say. Just like here in the WR.
