Social Qanon Megathread V1

I think we've been waiting on arrests of high profile figures since Trump's first month in office according to Q. It's made its way to my normie aunt who watches nothing but Fox News and surfs Facebook. I'm guessing she's probably upped the dose to OAN now though.

Wow...

thing is I work for one of the alphabet fed agencies and the amount of coworkers I have with extensive military backgrounds and personal arsenals that would make Rambo blush takes this Q thing like super serious

my boy told me Hillary Clinton is known in the deep state for drinking blood and eating pituitary glands of missing kids for power...

I was waiting for the punch line ...none ever came

and that bat shit crazy talk is not so far removed from the mainstream as you might think. i know quite a few people who have gone down some version of that road and these are people who went to college or who have made good livings for themselves through being business owners.

point is its not just wackos living in their parents basements who are falling for this kind of crazy shit.

Pretty sure we had that

Q's first post:

"Hillary Clinton will be arrested between 7:45 AM - 8:30 AM EST on Monday - the morning on Oct 30, 2017."

That a movement was built off of predictions like this could only happen in MAGA Land.

Basically a troll job that happened to strike a chord with some people with a lot of time to read bullshit on the internet.

That used to mean mostly middle aged Karens and social rejects.

Since a lot of people have lost their jobs due to covid the pool of retards has diversified somewhat.

I know a guy who is high up in the Nassau County Police, makes well over $200,000 a year, who goes on terribly misspelled lunatic rants about this on social media. It's incredible.

QAnon reads like a right-wing incel schizophrenic trying his hand - and failing miserably - at free verse poetry.

Break their control
Who? Add it up.
Clues are there
Don't allow tyranny...
Trust the plan
They're panicking
Trump is close now...
Why did POTUS sing YMCA?
Shadow government.
Information warfare.
Trump sent message...

The message can be smeared because there is no "messanger" as it were... While I don't know a ton about Q or the movement there certainly is a "reality" behind the scenes that involves lots of people we often see but whose agendas we know very little about... The Q movement seems to be shining light on some of these occult things?

The only thing Q shines a light on is the credulity and lack of critical thinking proudly possessed by way too many Americans.

stop calling lunatics like this trolls. We are talking about delusional, probably mentally ill people who really believe this kind of shit. Whether or not it started as a troll doesn't matter (see Flat Earth Theory)
Bit nitpick-y. I didn't describe it as just a troll job, did I? I said it appears to be an elaborate troll job/disinformation campaign/psych ops by Jim Watkins. I stand behind my description.

I agree with this

An interesting take, part of the message is misdirection if I recall correctly. There are attempts to force people to think for themselves and seek clarity on topics instead of taking the information from any source at face value.

Q or anyone is only so responsible for the way their message(s) is/are interpreted and regurgitated but there's no doubt a huge amount of people are not real bright and in denial...

I was really in to conspiracy theories growing up, this is something entirely different though. Which is why I think it's attractive to a lot of people who aren't really "conspiracy theory" people.

I just found this article on topic. Good example of how conspiracy theories poison the work of legitimate organizations.

QAnon’s Obsession With #SaveTheChildren Is Making It Harder To Save Kids From Traffickers

https://fivethirtyeight.com/feature...king-it-harder-to-save-kids-from-traffickers/

“It’s extraordinarily frustrating,” said Lisa Goldblatt Grace, co-founder and executive director of My Life My Choice, an anti-trafficking nonprofit. “We’ve worked so hard for the last 18 years to shift the narrative and have people understand this is happening in our communities. QAnon instead gives folks this incredibly sensationalized ‘other’ to fear and be angry about.”

In reality, child trafficking in the U.S. doesn’t look like a bunch of Hollywood and D.C. elites performing satanic rituals on children they stole from suburban playgrounds. Instead, kids who are sexually exploited are often poor, children of color, immigrants, or some combination of the three, and they’ve often been in the child welfare system or run away from home. In 2018, 1 in 7 kids who were reported as runaways to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children were likely victims of child sex trafficking, according to UNICEF.
