Hey Jason, you mentioned that you fought twice when eye gouging and biting was allowed, can you provide me with any info. on these type of events, or were they not events, but street fights? Thanks

Say what you want this is a fight business and outside the ring or the Gym they goto many of the same places. I think at that time they were like all in the same boat they left the anger in the ring.

in ufc 1 and 2 there were absolutely no rules .only restrictions you'ld be fined for.fifteen hundered dollars for biting and eye gouging.also no medical coverage yada yada .after that they came up with rule and reg. for all sorts of things,but 1 and 2 ,no rules.

i like the rules from before for reasons of creativity .to make everyone wonder and not be so generic.i tell you two fighters that i think if given a chance would have made huge influence
on styles prevalent.(forgive the spelling )johnny rhodes,and ray wizard.that with a little more conditioning they would have made fighters have to stand up,and thats where the really interesting techniques happen.

I am sure that Bas has had more then a few disrespectful words about Jason. So that is ok I guess without going down a rat hole.
I have not seen the DVD but I am sure there is some stuff on there to talk about I hear.
