Some other guy answered your question about maximum withdrawals but let me give you a little advice. Try to stick to the bank ATMs, preferably one that's inside. Especially not a sketchy ATM near late night entertainment. I've had my card/PIN skimmed twice now and both times were in SE Asia. Once in Cambodia and once in Thailand.

I'm Asian, also and notice the same thing. Asian men and non-Asian men tend to have different taste when it comes to Asian women. Next time you're in an area with a large Asian population (like California... Think SF or LA), try to find an Asian guy who thinks Lucy Liu is attractive. It will be tough

use the taxi mopeds,get through traffic fast.

I never worked at a Thai hospital but I've worked in a lot all over the world. There's one thing that all big cities ERs that have moto-taxis have in common - the biggest proportion of serious trauma patients are lower limb injuries from moped/motorcycle riders and passengers. Usually, the passenger sustains more serious injuries.

I definitely believe you. I just remember you saying that you were married, so it was probably a close friend of yours who actually went to check it out, right? :icon_lol:

Of course, I'm single and should be in Thailand this November, so the least I could do is go by and in the name of fostering international goodwill and relations between our two countries, check in to make sure the ladies are doing alright. :icon_lol:

question on 1 year visa:

-Do I still have to leave and re-enter the country every 90 days?

- Also they need a letter from the gym i'll be training at, what happens if i'm going to travel all over the place and spread my training out? In otherwords, does the gym need to state i'll be training at there location for the whole year , or only stating a few months is ok too? since i'll be moving on to another gym...hope I made sense.

If you have a 1 year visa, there is no requirement that you leave the country every 90 days (though I'd encourage you to see other places in southeast asia if you are over there for a year).

Lets say, in front of a group of people, a conversation turned to debts. After arguing, he recalls that he does owe you money, in front of this group of people, and is dumbfounded. Is he going to revenge for this loss of face?

I love all these threads giving adivice how to deal with Thais. It reminds me off all the warning signs in yellowstone park about how to deal with wild animals.
