PWD 701: ASK HIM!

Folks, this was a wild, exciting, sometimes trying year for the PWD. Our undefeated grand Champion - and my best friend in the whole wide world, @MinotauroRex died of ass eating asphyxia. Before his untimely death, he was having another standout year. Almost oddly, our new good friend @Big Nut Energy showed up right after Rex died and has been a top notch poster ever since. When he has a full year to post, look the heck out. 2019 might be the Nut Year.

@Rebelfett liked, and was liked by all the right people this year. @moonwolf continued his unrelenting high level posting day after day. @Batjester stayed alive all year, something that cannot be overlooked. @Casrot exploded onto the scene and made a name for himself that he continues to grow in 2019. @Frank23 kept us all apprised on what was happening on Twitter while posters like @Count Zero and @Falsedawn made sure we knew what was on in Japan (keeping us safe from their subs along the way). @J Danger set a new record for highest star-rating per post ... unfortunately, he only posted like 7 times this year. @frenz is an attractive girl and that always earns points on line ... until it doesn't. And then it really doesn't. @warriorscommando kept us entertained with tales of strippers and debauchery, while @Smigg kept us safe from SJWs.

I can't list everyone who contributed, but you all made this place the best thread in the history of not only Sherdog, but in all of the internet (porn sites not included). But, once all the votes were tallied, it was actually a pretty simple choice.

The 2018 #SocraticMethod PWD Poster of the Year is an all-around great poster and great guy. He posts fantastic mascots and thought-provoking polls. He doesn't troll or hijack threads. He posts about wrestling and boobies and all the things we come here for. He is, without a doubt, a true Southern gentleman among savages and he is the HEART AND SOUL of the PWD. Wow. I don't even know what to say. I have some people that need to be thanked. First of all, @Big Nut Energy and @SocraticMethod. I'm not sure I would have lasted around this place if it wasn't for these two fine Americans and proud fathers. They continue to show me every day that you can be outstanding family man but also a sick, twisted, nasty tit and rasslin' loving freak. You two are the best! @Frank23 my podcast brother. I know one day we'll both tearfully embrace when A-E-Dub beats Raw in the ratings for the first time and we both know #OurBusiness is officially back. Our great sport of NASCAR is beyond saving though and we need to just let it go. In that same vein, @PRIDEWASBETTER thank you for showing me that there are others like me who love college football, rasslin' and motorsports along with @mudflap mike

@TheHigherPower as far as I'm concerned a pillar of strength on not just this thread but so many others. A fine man and encyclopedia of rasslin', the military, college football and even motorsports. @Pliny Pete you proudly stuck up with me in the great Bischoff/Bret 1996 contract debate. I'll never forget that(and Bret still didn't get a contract in 1996). Good man right there. @moonwolf we used to say that you were the Rodman of the#SocraticMethodGuys but now I say that Rodman is the @moonwolf of the NWO. @warriorscommando you may be one crazy son of a bitch but you're OUR crazy son of a bitch. An exemplary attorney and father.
