I didnt realize the WWF ever did anything this crazy in the kiddie cartoon era, wonder if thats why they chose not to air it, though, cant have kids setting themselves on fire

Or maybe they didnt air it cause the promos from both guys frickin' sucked

It musta been a huge building cause there are last minute show cancellations being announced all over social media, including the entire city of San Jose, which is the largest city in the entire region

Lots of dirt tracks are cancelling also, some just the fireworks show but others have cancelled the entire racing program too, I didnt realize so many dirt tracks hosted shows but I guess it makes sense, nothing says America more than cheap beer, horsepower and explosions

Growing up literally across the street from my house was a race track (not sure if it was dirt or not) and every 4th they would have a fireworks show. We would all climb on the roof of the house and would watch, and could actually see the shows from 3 of the bigger areas around us.

We got one of our dogs from the racetrack. It was a Doberman puppy that got abandoned. We had a lot next to our house that the racetrack used for parking.

We were trailer park trash without living in a trailer lol.

I still havent given Roxie all her toys I won for her last time at the fair yet so I decided to set them out on her couch today to keep her company while Im out winning her some fresh new toys at the fair today

I probably wasn't watching WWF yet when that happened but I never saw anything like that in 95. I guess the closest thing would be Diesel (still technically a babyface) powerbombing Bret through the announcer table and then Bret blading at the next month's PPV without Vince knowing.

I know I already said this the other but it always surprises me when I see how frickin yoked JYD was in the early 80's Mid South just cause I always knew him as husky WWF JYD, who was still pretty great

I remember Hall Of Fame Brian would always talk about how WWF JYD was fat and lost a step and what not on his fancy pants little podcast and I thought he was being dumb but I guess he was right

Was introduced to him in Free Willy and Reservoir Dogs in like 93, then saw him star in Species, had a great grizzled look, a helluva voice and was one of the modern GOAT character actors.

Probably just second to De Niro as coolest movie smoker…..which probably most likely the reason im making this post.
