That feud was so great. The Midnight Rockers were so fun to watch back then, and Somers and Rose looked like shit but were such a great tag team.

They were a couple grizzled old vets that knew how to play the evil villain role and work these matches perfectly to turn the young upstart Midnight Rockers into the babyface underdog champions that the crowd was so desperate to cheer on to bloody victory, it was a great combination that worked so well together and created magic in the ring, add in that hated witch Sherri Martel as their manager and you got yourself one heck of an entertaining feud

Yeah. I had a year long experience with him before my last rehab. This was about 4 years ago and I still think about it at least once a week. I've never in my life experienced anything like it. I was tortured day and night. Things telling me to kill myself over and over again, visions of my family and friends dead, I even heard the screams of hell one night while I was sitting at my desk. I zoned out and was floating in a black void and then I started hearing screams. It was quiet at first, I thought I was alone. Then they started getting louder and louder. And then I realized those are the people in pain here on Earth. That was actually a turning point for me because it sparked something in me to get better and try to help. The way I'm wired is I need to fight against something. Obviously, I ended up making it through all that and purifying my soul. But, yeah, it's still on my mind a lot. And I'm not the only one that has experienced it. He's been doing this a long, long time. I needed it. I wasn't going to change until I got my soul thoroughly beaten into a living death. I'm a dumb sumbitch sometimes, Pete.

I still remember one match they had where I think it was Shawn who was bleeding like a stuck pig. They were wearing white too if I remember correctly to make the visual even more shocking.
 
Undisputed Tribal Chief now.......they even had to split that like a participation trophy.
