People acting like Okada isn't the greatest wrestler of this century and doesn't deserve to get paid the big bucks lol
 
@Stargazer Rex I believe I had some sort of out of body experience or lucid dream or something deep last night

At about 2:30 am I jolted awake and my mind was suddenly clear for the first time in a couple weeks and I just sat there thinking about what i had went through

The realization came over me that i had actually almost killed myself through my reckless actions, I was legitimately close to being done for

Up to that point, the past two weeks were all just a cloudy haze so I wasnt really processing any of what had happened but at that point I felt the cold grip of reality hit me

I dont know if this "dream" happened before I woke up at 2:30 am or after I went back to sleep but its all tied together

Usually, when I dream, everything is kinda abstract, I'll be at home but its not really my house or its my house from childhood and people will be different or whatever, my point is usually its easy for me to tell its a dream

This was not like that at all, this was me in my house in my current state being chased by 3 ghosts that represented the Grim Reaper

It wasnt dreamlike at all, I could clearly see the apparitions face and he was making his intent known to me flat out and directly, he was there to kill me

Im trying to fight him off but he was a ghost so i couldnt hit him which clicked something in my mind, I literally realized my dreams dont usually go like this, this is something else

At that point, I exited my body and floated above myself and just stayed there looking down at myself as I slept on my couch, there was nothing dream like about it, it was actually me exactly how I looked on my real couch etc

My interactions with the Reaper went on a bit but he never got me and I dont exactly remember how it ended

Obviously, I understand what the "dream" meant and what the apparition was telling me but its something I have never ever experienced before, the out of body bit is a completely new experience to me

Just thought this was something you might find interesting and have some thoughts on, feel free to comment if you'd like

I don't think Okada is the greatest wrestler of this century and don't think there was ever any moment in time where he was even #1 at that moment.

He's great, but the guy hasn't drawn a single dime in America. Guy wasn't even drawing dimes in Japan recently. If him getting signed that much, means other guys on the roster won't get big pay days, it was stupid. If it doesn't affect how others get paid, I don't care, good for him.

Is Okada the real deal or is he another Kenny Omega, only big in Japan where the competition is easier
 
I dont know the answer to that question but Im still peeved at Uncle Dave for tricking me so badly with all his Omega jazz so i wont be served soup again!

Okada is really good. Has some fun matches, but he's a guy I've personally thought has always been overrated and I've always rooted against him in big matches lol

Guy got the Cena push by New Japan and Meltzer gave him a bunch of stars.

Kenny Omega is better than Okada and it ain't even close, so if you don't like Kenny Omega, you probably won't like Okada.

I liked some of Omegas matches just fine when he got to AEW but he was put over by a certain crowd as this generational life changing talent here to save the business and the guy i saw with the smarmy face and geeky sideburns just aint that guy

Thats why im wondering if Okada is "real" or just another Jap dweeb

Okada will give us a good match probably 4-5 times a year and will look bored doing it. He ain't that guy IMO.

AEW already has a better Jap on their roster who is 6'3" 240 and 9 inches, who is that guy and has that final boss aura. They should've saved their money on Okada and just breaded out Konosuke Takeshita instead.

I was excited to see that guy live at King Of Indies 2021, Based, and then Big Tony pulled him from the card for no fucking reason at all!!

I like dreams.

I had a dream last night where I was part of a cult and some ginger woman was cussing me out to the point where I signalled for her abduction and execution. I turned my back, had a change of heart, saw that the hitmen were gone and tried to find her before they got to her.

I never did, and found her severed head on a stick at the end of the dream.

You should watch his match from the PPV this past Sunday with Will Ospreay. It will make up for Tony Khan's shenanigans.

It was a wild affair and will probably be hard to top by anybody as 2024 Match of the Year.

Didn't watch the PPV, but the match Wednesday with Ospreay and Fletcher was great. I'm actually thinking the Will is the best wrestler right now.

I guess the real question here is what the dream meant to you, and how you will act on that meaning from now on.

You should check out the match, I just posted a great link. If you liked the Ospreay and Fletcher match, the Takeshita match was even better.
