Didn't watch the PPV, but the match Wednesday with Ospreay and Fletcher was great. I'm actually thinking the Will is the best wrestler right now.
The match with Takeshita was even better than the Kyle one.

What does Anthony Ogogo think of this??

@Stargazer Rex I believe I had some sort of out of body experience or lucid dream or something deep last night

At about 2:30 am I jolted awake and my mind was suddenly clear for the first time in a couple weeks and I just sat there thinking about what i had went through

The realization came over me that i had actually almost killed myself through my reckless actions, I was legitimately close to being done for

Up to that point, the past two weeks were all just a cloudy haze so I wasnt really processing any of what had happened but at that point I felt the cold grip of reality hit me

I dont know if this "dream" happened before I woke up at 2:30 am or after I went back to sleep but its all tied together

Usually, when I dream, everything is kinda abstract, I'll be at home but its not really my house or its my house from childhood and people will be different or whatever, my point is usually its easy for me to tell its a dream

This was not like that at all, this was me in my house in my current state being chased by 3 ghosts that represented the Grim Reaper

It wasnt dreamlike at all, I could clearly see the apparitions face and he was making his intent known to me flat out and directly, he was there to kill me

Im trying to fight him off but he was a ghost so i couldnt hit him which clicked something in my mind, I literally realized my dreams dont usually go like this, this is something else

At that point, I exited my body and floated above myself and just stayed there looking down at myself as I slept on my couch, there was nothing dream like about it, it was actually me exactly how I looked on my real couch etc

My interactions with the Reaper went on a bit but he never got me and I dont exactly remember how it ended

Obviously, I understand what the "dream" meant and what the apparition was telling me but its something I have never ever experienced before, the out of body bit is a completely new experience to me

Just thought this was something you might find interesting and have some thoughts on, feel free to comment if you'd like

The general consensus of dreams from many personality theories all seem to think it's your unconscious/subconscious trying to tell you something. A lot of time it goes about it in weird cryptic symbolism in your dreams and sometimes it's pretty straight forward. Like you said, you know what it was trying to tell you, essentially "hey, stop doing what you are doing or this is going to happen" and now Im going to scare the fuck out of you in hopes that you change your ways. I wonder if the out of body experience was it trying to really send the message home. It caused an experience that you never experienced to drive the point home.

The unconscious mind is pretty wild territory. A lot of freaky shit goes down there. In Jungian psychology the shadow and the anima( or animus if you are a female) are part of your unconscious. The shadow is like your evil side, if you experience that you will think you encountered the devil. The anima is like repressed female qualities. I've had experience with both. I didn't know it at the time. To get better I had to make friends with both. Thought I was losing my mind. Your anima can be a cold bitch, just because it's the female qualities of you doesn't make it all lovey dovey and shit. Bitch was hardcore but now we are cool. She was just tired of me ignoring her my whole life. You may have already encountered them without even knowing. I wouldn't have known I did until I read Jung. They felt like they were their own entities. Thought I was shoot losing it.

What is also interesting to me is you encountered 3 Grim reapers. 3 is a hugely significant number in the occult. 3,6,9 to be exact.

Liek why 3 Grim reapers? Why not 2 or 4 or 5? The last time I had sleep paralysis 3 shadowy figures were at the foot of my bed while I was paralyzed. I instantly knew what was happening and morphed into a tiger, sat up in bed and did roar type thing where I projected my will at them and disintegrated them. I havent had sleep paralysis since. But that was the first time I ever saw three of them and coincidently it has been the last time I seen them. But then I also had a good dream a couple weeks ago involving three female tigers, a juvenile, an adult and a elderly one. They were nice. What the hell did it mean? I don't know! Lol.

Anyways, I don't know if you got anything from this but I like to talk about weird shit.

He’s not though.

Omega, Styles, and Danielson exist.
I'd put him over Omega and Styles easy, and I absolutely love Omega. Danielson is a very good call though.

I don't think Okada is the greatest wrestler of this century and don't think there was ever any moment in time where he was even #1 at that moment.

He's great, but the guy hasn't drawn a single dime in America. Guy wasn't even drawing dimes in Japan recently. If him getting signed that much, means other guys on the roster won't get big pay days, it was stupid. If it doesn't affect how others get paid, I don't care, good for him.
I really don't think him getting paid more means others get paid less. Omega, Danielson, Mox, Young Bucks, Ospreay, etc are all getting big bags. Him getting paid is good for wrestling and good for competition.

You should check out the match, I just posted a great link. If you liked the Ospreay and Fletcher match, the Takeshita match was even better.
Yeah, that was pretty damn spiffy. I wasn't a huge fan of the ref stopping the match spot (I never am) but I LOVED how there were bursts of action instead of them going 100mph the entire match. Another thing I was really fond of is when Will wouldn't get the 3 count, instead of looking around like an idiot for 2 minutes he would at least grab Take and start the next sequence.

I’ll echo the sentiment that Okada often looks bored, and that takes me out. Not denying Okada is great, though.

I also prefer Naito when it comes to people like Naito, Tanahashi, and Okada. Hell, I like Shingo Takagi more than all of them.

Styles make likes and all that.

It might not mean others getting paid less, but it might effect the size of the bags others get in the future when their current contracts come up. A lot of AEW OG's making 150-300k who signed 3-5 year deals throughout AEW's history will be coming up soon. People who built the company for Okada to be able to come in and get that big bag not being able to see a big bag themselves would be a damn shame. Honestly, how many people can Tony Khan give big bags to? Okada's contract is 9 people getting a raise to 500k a year lol. If he doesn't have an effect on that, then cool, if he does, that sucks ass.

Dumping Punk and (hopefully) letting Hardy go will help in the $$$ department some.

Might as well let Jeff Hardy, Miro, and Keith Lee go too.

I appreciate your response, this stands out to me because it was so different even aside from the out of body stuff
I have bad dreams a lot but not with this level of clarity to them
I get chased a lot but I never get chased by ghosts, usually its cops to be honest, but no matter what it is i usually never see them because theyre behind me trying to come for me
This creature stood directly in front of me so I could clearly see his face and cloudy ghost like form and he spoke to me directly with serious intent
I swung on him several times, which is also something I usually never do in dreams, but he was made of clouds so it had no effect
Just so much different than I usually experience, its the fact that he let me see his face that has me rattled to be honest

Honestly who out of the OGs other than the elite and Mox really deserve that level of contract? Darby is brilliant so he deserves it, MJF is already getting paid and you dislike him, then who else? Jack Perry seems like a no for most fans, same with Guevara, Britt Baker? Private Party? Dustin Rhodes? Best Friends? Okada will perform better than all of them.

Oh I personally like Shingo more too and he should be given way more opportunities. Still don't think he's above Okada in terms of resume though. That can be down to booking though

Also apparently that 4.5 million number was a kayfabe number that was reported as shoot by Western journalists like Sean Ross Sapp.

Never thought I'd see fans annoyed that their favourite wrestlers are getting paid more because there's healthy competition. Need them put on those Dana White Contender Series contracts

Tony Khan could probably give guys like Ricky Starks, Hobbs, Wardlow, The Acclaimed, The Gunns, Penta, Fenix, etc a significant raise each for the price of one Okada contract.

Meltzer is the only guy saying that number is fake. He hasn't exactly been reliable lately.

Okada clearly isn't a lot of people's favorite wrestler either lol

There was a Cathy Kelley picture posted here about a week ago in a red dress..

Suppose it was the last thing I saw before I went to sleep because I wound up dreaming I was working for WWE and at some sort of talent meeting with her and some of the wrestlers. It was pretty boring. But then after the meeting was over we were all ran up on by the Blood street gang. I was laughing (often times I’m aware I’m in a dream while dreaming) and I woke up.

I know I was dreaming last night, and I heard a cover of a song before I went to sleep. This song was in the background all through last nights dreams and I woke up with it in my head:

Also have had sleep paralysis but have only seen something once; a long fingered goblin looking thing. Lady Clinch woke up because she heard a seal dying and saved me.

Well when they're contract comes up and they'll negotiate for that. Other than Lucha Bros and to an extent Starks every single one of those guys had little to no experience in the indies. I'd have to see what they were offered to know if I thought it was fair or not but most of those guys weren't even known names on the indies when they signed their first contracts. Comparing them to Okada is absolutely ridiculous
