@RollSonnenRoll I was watching clips of the old Thor movies and they did really screw up his character arc. It was going well with him being annoying and immature then Odin making him pay his dues to finally the redemption and hope spot:

Then they made him a depressed, fat, drunk, girl dad. Life comes at ya pretty fast sometimes. I still think the last Thor was alright lol. But dang. Thor must have heat! They never would have did that to Iron Man!

I can understand his depressed to be fat, drunken Thor. My issues was making it comedic. It should have been sad and serious to have more impact. He's lost everything in this world. He solely blames himself for letting Thanos snap. It makes sense that he would crawl into a bottle and seek the comfort of food while he hides away from all his resposniilities. The second he's dipping chips into a bowl of guac on his belly and playing video games, now it's a joke and he's just a funny fat guy for no reason.

Overall, it's still the best arc in the MCU and best character for me

Good point. Don't insult my intelligence! Although, I personally don't want to see a god go through an existential crisis. Save that shit for the Hawkeye's of the world!
