Some of these “conservatives” on here are the most spineless and weak minded I’ve ever seen. Says a lot that they would rather have a dictator. Ironic too that you’ll see them posting about wanting less central government. I think they don’t actually know what they want

In a supposedly 'free' country, Biden militarily occupied the capital to secure an election. Putin isn't innately any more authoritarian than Biden - but he is more intelligent and capable.

It's notable that neither of you guys has yet made a point. It seems you agree, even if your supposed patriotism won't allow you to.

Biden wasn’t even in Power when the National Guard was brought in. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

Furthermore if Biden was as all powerful as seem to think then he would have gotten some of his agenda passed. Instead basically everything has tried to pass has been blocked by Republicans. Why? Because he doesn’t have as much power as you think.

If this is a proxy for rather having the US gov't or Russian gov't, that's pretty obvious. For all the problems the US gov't has, they don't go ethering their political opponents.

How are you all managing to miss the point that the system and the person are different?
America's system will not allow its presidents to be all powerful. But the question was not "would you rather live in the American system or the Russian system?" the question was who I would rather have ruling my country.

Putin is a pretty obvious choice if those are my only two. You can believe that your politicians are pure as the driven snow, if you want. But I don't think that Biden, the person, has any less authoritarian tendencies than Putin - his environment just allows him to express them less.
My country would put fewer restraints on him, and if I have to choose between two scumbags, I'll choose the competent one whose ego might compel him to at least try and do a good job, and whose character is more suited to my country's people.
 
Putin is a career politician worth 70 billion. Yeah I pick that guy because I have been duped by media and Russian troll farms in thinking a guy who will never lose an election and kill any dissenters is some how a great leader.
The average Russian is poor and that large ass country is terrible at making money on anything but their resources. Without oil they would be a shit hole.
