Opinion Putin or Biden?

Im the problem? As you advocate and actively cheer for the downfall of my country and side with it's enemies...gtfo

Us politics swings left and right on the regular dumb dumb...

I mean... you're fantasizing that I'm actively cheering for the downfall of your country just because I would rather not be lead by your leader.
You don't think that that's a problem? Dude, that's insane.

The world would be pretty fucked with a sudden American collapse. I hope that as you recede in influence, you do so in a controlled and reasonable manner.

You don't think that that's a problem? Lol, dude that's insane.

Well as you hope we recede in influence I hope people recognize that Putin style of leadership has been done ad naseum with disastrous consequences for everyone. Unless of course you enjoy being dominated

LOL. You're the worst kind of shill. How about Alexei Navalny? How about Alexander Litivenko? How about Viktor Yushchenko?

Any proven evidence that something was done to them by Russians or just typical “may be’s”, “almost certain”, “no need for proof for that” western media feed us with?

Would rather be stabbed with a knife made by Shun or Santoku? I mean I’d rather neither.

I’d prefer Biden if it was a question of who would I rather have recalling my description and the plates of my getaway car

Looks like Russia didn't just invade Donetsk and Luhansk, they also found the Sherdog War Room.

What is this, a Russian troll farm? Most Westerners have no fucking clue how spoiled they are. Sure Biden isn't the ideal candidate but at least he's a Western leader with Western values. Every rightwinger (because that's what I assume most of you are) that's complaining about Biden right now would cry bloody murder after one month of being governed by Putin. I don't really think you realize how business is handled in Russia.

I thought y'all were so hell bent on keeping your freedoms and liberties?

I don't "hope" you recede in influence. You are already receding in influence, and it will inevitably continue.
What I hope is that we don't see many repeats of the Afghanistan withdrawal as your global influence and presence recedes - if you look like you're collapsing, rather than just somewhat receding in relation to a strengthening world, then chaos is more likely to fill in the vacuum. That's one of the reasons that the perception of strength is important - people are less likely to test weakness that they don't detect.

And "Putin-style leadership" is a short-sighted statement that reveals your lack of understanding of the needs of people who live outside of the bubble-wrapped environment you enjoy. I'm not a fan of authoritarianism - but it gets things done a lot better than democracy, which is more suited to a society that's already got everything it needs. The problem with authoritarianism is that the ability to get things done is problematic if the things being done are bad. But, if you live in a broken country, the alternatives might not be much better.
It's a gamble. But, not much of a gamble - Biden is pretty terrible.

Which one would you rather have in charge of your country? I know most people on the left would prefer Biden, but what about people on the right? Putin is a strong leader and not affected by political correctness, but he is also an authoritarian and extremely violent.
How about neither..?

I would say by Russian standarts Putin is very politicaly correct. And look at Russian government and politicians -- Nabiullina (women of color, not sure but she might be Muslim?), Lavrov (half-Armenian), Shoygu (mixed race), Mishustin (of Armenian and Jewish origin), Sobyanin (mixed race) -- I can't remember transgenders and open gays in government but you can find rumors about a lot of politicians being non-heterosexuals (Putin, Zhirinovsky, Gref, Volodin probably the biggest examples).

Strong leader? Ended stuff with Chechnya by making Islamist head of Chechnya, imagine if Biden made head of American chapter of ISIS governor of Texas. War with Georgia happened when Medvedev was Russian president. How is he strong?

Wow..my lack of understanding? Nothing wrong with a strengthening world but the void filled by Russia and China is a hard no. You can take your authoritarian get things done bullshit and shove it way up past your putin

You’re oversimplicating things here. He basically tricked Chechens into solving their problems by themselves instead of using brute force and losing more Russian soldiers, as was done during the 1st Russian-Chechen War. Russia got the peaceful region, Chechnya… well, strong leadership in Kadyrov and then Kadyrov-jr. :D

Lol.

Neither of us can predict exactly how he would behave in a different system. You can pretend that you know, but that's all you're doing: pretending.
He leans authoritarian - the extent to which that expresses itself is dependent on the system within which he operates, the speed with which he can adjust it to his preferences, and the speed with which it adjusts him.
