I have to go with Putin here, 100%

So the choices are a senile career politician or a violent dictator who has been known to imprison and or kill his political opposition? This is a tough one. For obvious reasons I have to choose Putin. I don’t care who it is I don’t want to live in a country where the leader wields as much power as Putin does.

Looks like Russia didn't just invade Donetsk and Luhansk, they also found the Sherdog War Room.

What is this, a Russian troll farm? Most Westerners have no fucking clue how spoiled they are. Sure Biden isn't the ideal candidate but at least he's a Western leader with Western values. Every rightwinger (because that's what I assume most of you are) that's complaining about Biden right now would cry bloody murder after one month of being governed by Putin. I don't really think you realize how business is handled in Russia.

I thought y'all were so hell bent on keeping your freedoms and liberties?

Putin.

The way things are going, that might have a 0.1% chance of actually happening, lol

Putin.
I live in a pretty broken country where the population respects the perception of strength - Putin would likely have authoritarian tendencies, but he'd be respected by the people and he'd aggressively pursue respect and dignity for the nation - even if only for reasons of his own ego. Given that he is quite competent, one could expect him to succeed to a far greater extent than our current leaders or Biden. Putin also has an actual track record for turning a broken country into a less broken country. (I'd want a sunset clause on his leadership though - one that he isn't aware of. Lol).

An American president is playing on easy mode and has a lot of wiggle room before his fuck-ups have any real blow-back for him or his country. Dudes can start wars unilaterally, dick around and get people killed for decades, waste money, get nothing done, and still never face any meaningful consequences.
That's not the background you want of anyone you'd trust with your country.

On top of that, Biden projects weakness. In many countries, that's a big problem - his existence would be divisive.

How's Putin's "presidency" been? It's weird how many of his political rivals have mistakenly drank radioactive milkshakes or ended up in prison for criticizing him.

source?

This is some high school silliness here.
In volatile times, the perception of strength can be stabilising.

You guys don't understand reality yet - you often live in relatively privileged, safe and crime-free bubbles, so you might not understand why the leader of the party that was trotting out "defund the police" narratives is not a good leader. There's almost no leader I'd want less than someone from the North American Left. But an American leader in general, is probably going to be a poor one. The system almost encourages it.
