God damn do I miss being a teenager. I used to throw all these cds in my discman and walk across town 6 miles to see the woman that would become Mrs Gutter.

I swear if I met a genie I would wish for everything to be like it was in 1998ish . Jincos pilfers hoodie 2 gauge hoops and on my way to see the suicide machines play with the skolars . If im wrong about shit and there is a heaven thats what I want it to be like. I have never been happier than that period in my life when I first really got into punk ska and met me wife

Saudade - The new supergroup featuring members of Bad Brains, The Cro-Mags, and the singer from the Deftones...


Doesn't sound very punk, more like Prog rock but I like it a lot. It's kind of funny it's being advertised as Chino Moreno's new project, but this is the only song they've released and it's an instrumental.

Those were some great years for me too. Maybe it's just because I was in a band and promoted shows, but it was more than just a scene to me. It was a counter-culture, a community of people with similar tastes and goals, working towards something bigger than just music...

Mostly I just miss hearing all that new music, and seeing live bands on the regular.


There's going to be a HC punk festival in Toronto this year at least... Look at the name

So I have band for all of you called The Monks. The Monks were a five piece band of American GI's stationed in Germany during the mid 60's. Released one album called Black Monk Time back in March of 1966. Can possibly be considered the first punk album. I highly suggest everyone get the album, it is an amazing record for the time and one that was way ahead of its time

I have always thought this was a great summer album and been rockin it alot lately

Fuck yea on the avail but I like Timmys solo shit a whole lot better. 40 miler is his greatest work by a landslide IMO and one of the best albums ever made

That's funny. I had to do that too, but in Grade 10 photography class. I chose this song, I'm surprised I never got in trouble lol.

Lyrically it's great, but I still prefer Avail.

I'll download that album and check it out though. You're not the first person who's told me they prefer his solo stuff to Avail.
