The sound track of your life

So true story... I lost my virginity while listening to As Nasty as They Wanna Be on cassette when I was 14. It was in her apartment and she wanted to listen to it. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. She was 14 and had been with multiple dudes already. The fact that she wanted to queue that up should have been a warning.

On the way to work this morning, the song "Iris" by Goo Goo Dolls played on the radio. This is probably my favorite song of all time - it reminds me of someone I love dearly and it is the song I would want played at my wedding. It got me thinking about other songs that signify the special people or moments in your life.

What would the sound track of your life be?

For me:

Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
The National - Afraid of Everyone
Iron and Wine - Passing Afternoon
Natalie Imbruglia - Torn
112 - Only You
Matchbox 20 - Push
Six Pence None the Richer - Kiss Me
Fun Factory - Close to you

Haha, husband got an Iris wall art metal thing for our 10th wedding anniversary.

I struggle here, I moved around so much as a kid and most of everything I have was very British and before you were born.

There are particular bands who made up the soundtrack of my life, King's X is one of them.

the sound of my youth ranges from early 80s pop to grunge and rap/hip hop; pretty much everything but country. what I've related to most though is always shit with a message or a story, or an idea/viewpoint I can get behind.
