Please elaborate. What new profound game has he adopted and implemented in his past 2-3 years of fighting. Look at his last few fights, he favors control now but he is still more or less the same guy; Chain wrestling(leg to upperbody trip/throw) with strong wrist control, leg ride and ankle ride.
Striking and bjj wise he hasn't changed much. He is still striking chin up, same bullshit flying knee, throws hard shots but always open for a counter strike. If anything, he has almost stopped kicking.

Khabib has improved his takedown game dramatically after the Tibau fight, where he was not able to finish his singles. That fight was the turning point in his career when he started favoring trips and throws against the cage more than shooting for the legs in the center of the Octagon. You could say that Khabib's entire fighting style changed due to how he had to emphasize pressuring his opponents until they find their back trapped against the cage. It was a dramatic change and a major improvement of his overall game, probably because of him training at AKA.

I personally expect Conor to win, but it's a super compelling fight. I think he should tag Khabib once or twice and put him down. If he uses his footwork well, it should be exceedingly difficult for Khabib to close distance wthout dying. If Conor can get under his skin, he might be too much in a hurry.
