Conor was supposed to beat Diaz. He lost. He was then supposed to lose to Diaz. He won. He lost to Floyd in boxing in a completely different sport, but still completely proved everyone wrong and completely defied logic.
Conor is undefeated in MMA, the sport he competes in when he is doubted. That is just fact. I can't express to you what kind of danger Khabib has gotten himself in. You will just have to wait and see.
Loool, "wins some, loses some" = 9-1 in the UFC and first double champ.
But keep on blindly hatin'!
Mendes and Diaz were on vacation when they got a phone call to fight Conor. Nobody expected an out of shape Diaz choking out Conor. The UFC must have had sleepless nights over this. After getting carried by the UFC with earlier easy match ups in the FW division, he finally got to face Aldo. Conor KO'ed Aldo within 13 seconds. A huge fluke. Then he was allowed to skip the entire LW division to fight Alvarez skipping all fighters in that division with a better record and win streak than him. He would have never been close to a LW title if he had fought LW contenders other than the than current champ, Alvarez... who wanted to showboat and stand up with a striker instead of taking him down.
I'm not saying that Conor is a nobody. But he was helped allot and also had huge luck in his career on crucial moments ( vs Aldo). Sometimes you need luck and this luck on crucial moments changed Conor's entire life being the marketable UFC cash cow he is now. But he is about to get exposed big time very soon.
You could well prove to be right but I have a feeling you've underestimated Conor before. Be honest did you expect him to beat Aldo, Diaz the second time and Alvarez? Was a lot of pre-fight talk about Alvarez grinding Conor against the cage like he did to Pettis. The crux of this fight for me is whether Khabib has a solid chin and whether Conor can find it before he's exhausted from either getting taken down or repeatedly having to defend the takedown.Uhhh pretty much any striker is a favorable matchup for an elite striker with longer reach, or guys who had no training camps and came off the couch.
It's conventional knowledge that elite wrestlers are the toughest matchups for strikers stylistically,

This is the way I see it, too. It has been a combination of skill, luck, favourable match-ups and size/reach advantage. If Conor was really the phenom his fans believe him to be, he would have (for example) demolished Nate twice. I don't know why people don't take the awful performances against Diaz as strong evidence against his greatness, and the role Conor's size and reach advantage have had in his success.Mendes and Diaz were on vacation when they got a phone call to fight Conor. conor has been away from the sport for a long time and had some life changing moments, I hope he can return in top form and knock out the beebers. The sport needs Conor, it's unbearable watching this crap without him.Jose Aldo - "You retards will see!"

Cute. Did you learn about him in school?Agreed. Lots of hats in that lame photo collage but only a handful of relevant reputable choices. Did anyone see if War Machine was tweeting from prison?
