Theory Proof that I have done fighting (Full Contact) and been graded

Out of curiosity, what do you think of this guy's form?
The video is speed up slowed so I can't tell if it's a roundhouse or side kick ? If it's a roundhouse why is he trying to break his toes. It must be a side kick.

Kinda whack to judge a video when it's heavily edited.

I was asking the Intermission guy. The person in the gif is his predecessor, spacetime. It was a bit of a deep cut

Main reason I never competed is nerves.

I do admire Jake Paul for that. I will never have his ice cool veins.

It's incredible to me that he can perform at all. Regardless of what he does in the gym.

Everybody is nervous

You never tried, that's your problem

This isn't a forum to make friends. Stick to the topic
But is it really a forum to post short clips of oneself in a dark room throwing random kicks with a jacket on only to delete them when someone points at how stupid they are?

Since you like to have your jacket on I suggest following through with it and going outside for that fresh air. You really sound like you need it.

It was misunderstood as a display of form but I dont bother explaining it.

We did after class set up a club fight with a ref and a kickboxer who had my exact same strengths.... People were usually rooting against me like here, but that day I had some support.. they jelled to me: hit him!

I felt like he was too good so I didnt want to let me feet fly. But once I kicked his shoulder his aggression stopped.

I understood there how it works.. psychologically. I can make him worse than he really is via intimidation and vice versa.

I did about 12 smokers before my amateur debut. I have an anxiety disorder and would have panic attacks before fights, freeze up in the ring, the whole nine yards. The whole point of competition is to challenge yourself and overcome yourself. You can't be brave without fear. Unless you're in your 40s or 50s now, you can still get some competitive experience under your belt. It would really help you grow imo

But than he would have to actually fight. Karate fighters hate to fight.

Like M Jay White.

You need to do a lot of light sparring. Where you agree to hit each other just light about 30% power.

Than you get used to that and won't freeze or panic.

We all are scared. But if you wanna develop the ability to fight. You teach yourself to take shots. Not run away from them.

Ive been fighting since I was a kid. But im all in or nothing. The only time I hit back was when I went to knock him out. He froze. I got turned on by it. So its in me.

Same with street fights. if I actually start fighting someone who wont leave me alone, he is going to be there for a while with me. Im not letting him go. i am going to torture him.

Its the in-between that I hate... really hard contact but nothing personal. I cant make that fit.

A real fight athlete can absorb shots and keep practicing. Sparring is practice fighting, semi fighting. You can't practice fighting by going 100% and for the kill. You can't be a good fight athlete if you don't practice fighting.

You gotta stop being a pussy and crying if you take a shot. You can not be what you say you are, a fight athlete, if you can't take a shot. It is hard hence there is little competition in fighting athletes. 100 000 milion people want to be a baller, soccer, basketball, tenis. 5000 people want to be full blown fight competitor. It's hard but less competition. Everyone wants to say they are a fighter but when it's time to show it they post clips online of kicking the air and kung fu dojo paperwork.

Post a video of you fighting if you want me to think you are a fighter.

Like M Jay White. Tongue - fighter, show - nobodoy hurting nobody.

Don't tell me show me.

You gotta learn to not be shocked and get a freeze or flight response when you get hit. The way to go is light sparring. Allowing to be punched in the face but with low power. Only way to be a real fighter. Take it from me I have been sparring since age 17. I used to get teary eyes from just a jab to the nose. Begginer struggles. Have anxiety going to sparring day. Quit training and not come back for months. Dodge all fights the trainer wanted to get me into. I once froze up so bad in sparring and just defended the whole rounds, my body just didn't listen, felt so bad mentally weak that I cried myself to sleep and didn't come back to training.

If you wanna be a fighter you gotta be not a pussy.

If you wanna be a fighter you gotta take 1000s punches to the head in training. If you got the wrong training enviourment you are being a idiot and getting brain damage. If you guys do it right, you develop real skills and minimize unecessary damage. There is a thing called pulling punches and control. Brain damage is very real. Also being a fight athlete is real and it's not just hitting mits and recording kicks for social media. A fighter is a man or girl who fights other people.

You are living in fantasy land.

You are living in fantasy land.

He is trying to afirm his training and real life fight experience in a way that let's him believe he is a pro fighter. It is nothing special. You got into a few fights with other kids / young man in your life. Half of all man globaly have. You trained tkd and went to boxing practice 10x. Nothing about that makes you a competitve fighter. You are yet just stepping into normal sparring. You are having beginer revelations about what sparring is like.

But the way you twist it is if you are chosen by God and lightning fast and amazing.

Matter of fact what is your point intermission ?

What did you come online to tell us ?

Do you want us to help you with something ?

You think posting short clips of single tkd style kicks is gonna impress us and we are gonna call you a great fighter ?

Stand up technique forums is a place for support, exchange of ideas, experiences and help. Doesn't matter if complete begginer or professional fighter. We are here to chat and ask - asnwer questions. Motivate and inform each other. Share advice.

You posted 10 tkd kicks with a jacket on in your room. And than you expect us to be deeply impressed and tell you you are a pro fighter or a big talent ?

We know you trained tkd. We aren't deeply impressed. If you wanna impress a online mma fight comunity you need to do better than that. Post something relevant.

If you just like attention and feedback - post full bag work clips or mitts or sparring. These 10 second single clips are super lame and unrelevant to an mma forum.

Post you hitting the bag for 3 minutes.
