Elections Project 2025 major right wing groups plan on creating a new super super pack

Tbch Trump is very similar to Andrew Jackson. Almost a 1/1 thing except Trump is too fat to be a general of anything and hes got a more friendly relationship with the courts.

Jacksons whole appeal was very similar to MAGA and so was the reaction to it which put people who had nothing in common in the same political party which subsequently exploded.
Were people willing to forfeit their lives for jackson?

Buy his junk and say he was sent from a god, up in the sky?

Yes.

Its a very similar situation.

Also you got to remember this was a world without TV or even radio. Most of Jacksons supporters never saw the man on TV or knew what he sounded like. His mannerisms. Who knows what wild shit Jackson said in private.

Right on.

I'll read more into his presidency.

Not contradicting anything you said, cause at a glance there are similarities.

Just saw some interesting dissimilarities between them-

Background: Jackson came from a humble background and struggled to rise socially, while Trump was born into wealth and privilege

Military experience: Jackson was a celebrated military hero, whereas Trump had no military service

Political experience: Jackson had significant government and political experience before becoming president, while Trump had none

Electoral mandate: Jackson won a clear popular mandate in 1828, whereas Trump lost the popular vote but won via the Electoral College

Ideological principles: Jackson held clear ideological principles, while Trump's political ideology has been less consistent

I'm a conservative, but I'm also an Atheist so all this Christo-fascism/theocratic revolution shit doesn't fly with me.

And since we're doing group therapy, being a conservative Atheist is one of the most alienating combinations possible in the US <lmao>

Hey don't worry about it, there will only be bloodshed if we leftists get uppity.

Not every thread can be a circle-jerk for MAGAtards, or "look at how terrible these minorities are," or some sensationalist sh*t reactionaries post that they didn't actually read or look into
I agree. There is much more entertaining things to argue about then this. That doesn't make this thread any less pathetic tho. I've read like 20+ posts of people explaining why they think they're fighting fascism and what this means to their purpose in life.

I really can't relate to this being boring though. And why don't you just leave the thread if you don't like it?? There's no question the stakes are pretty high in this country. I can't imagine finding that boring frankly.

What do you think will really happen to you or the country, if Trump is elected? Do you honestly believe democracy will be dead and you will not have a voice in 2028?

I just want to see what level of paranoid delusion you're at. What is this big scary thing that, outside of policies you don't agree with, will happen?

Well to start with people have come out of the cracks and feel emboldened and empowered to act the way they act because they found a hero in Trump who made it all the way to the presidency without ever becoming a decent human being.

And I've noticed that those kinds of people all over the country who used to keep their heads down a little bit or keep it all a bit more secret and be rightly ashamed of themselves now feel emboldened and so the general culture has shifted. Trump has changed the culture to one of more cruelty, vulgarity, lying and dishonesty and blatant greed.

If such a thing could be measured and we were at a 10, Trump took the whole country down to a 7 and I think another four more years would get us down to a 5.

And that kind of vulgarity and violence in the air and greed and pettiness stops a lot of subtle good things from happening and limits the possibilities for a culture to express and give and love. So much is lost when people like Trump are emboldened to express themselves in public the way they do.

I know you won't be able to understand anything I'm saying.

And that is before ever discussing policy positions of Republicans which are god awful.

I guess I should have been more succinct about what exactly Project 2025 actually is. If you look at this in conjunction with the Supreme Court’s insane immunity ruling, or even just looking at this in a vacuum, the aim is to install Trump as a dictator or king.

Trump is never going to say no to being dictator or king. This is it, people. You either get he fuck out there and vote for whatever corpse the Democrats put on the ticket, or the US becomes a dictatorship. But it’s up to you.

Everyone discounts the probability of something like that happening because people never like to think bad things like that can happen. Well, they can. And it’s not just about Trump but also about the next demagogue who comes along. And that will likely be someone who is ya complete fucking retard like Trump, who will really be able to get shit done.

How do you think that goes? I mean practically. How does Trump become dictator, without sweeping victories and super majorities in the House and Senate? They just announce that he's now King, or some shit?

Seriously, break the process down at how this would actually occur.

Good thing the heritage foundation broke the whole thing down for you in a 900-page document. This is the part where you get over your refusal to read literally anything and go inform yourself.

Oklahoma Republican Senator Jim Inhofe died yesterday. Whether you like the guy or not, the amount of hate the folks in the r/okc and r/oklahoma subreddits were posting toward him was pretty pathetic.

Those comments were made by folks who aren't Trump fans.

The truth is a lot of these guys will like it if/when it happens as long as its their side that has the power. The die hard Trump supporter believes in this kind of power, the power of force and might is right and lying to get there.

The willingness to "do whatever it takes," yes indeed. They've convinced themselves they can pretend it's a righteous cause because they pat each other on the back continually on social media.

I’ll answer your question with a question: what in the fuck do you think the senate or house can do?

And as I said before, it isn’t just about Trump really. Yeah, he’s a real piece of shit and will definitely abuse whatever power he is given. But what holds him back is the fact that he has the IQ of a turd.

The next “strong man” that comes along, republican or democrat, likely won’t have that same handicap.
