Elections Project 2025 major right wing groups plan on creating a new super super pack

As someone who works for the federal government under the executive branch, I shudder at this rhetoric. I'm not important enough to have my position directly affected, but I think many people who don't have an understanding of how this works underestimate how far reaching this policy would be. This kind of power grab would have a snowball effect on every single agency targeted, and result in a mass exodus of experience and knowledge from all of these agencies, which is exactly what the morons promoting these policies want.
I think a lot of the mass exodus will be due to defunding and shutting down government agencies.
In other words, they’ll be let go and not replaced.

the whole party has lost their freaking minds. its difficult for me to even understand man....

You seen what Mark Robinson said? Gubernatorial candidate from North Cackalackey?

I mean it's funny when Sherfront posters hand-wave and downplay when these people declare exactly who they are:

You're talking to cultists.

There's another big scab to his campaign(which is WAY more risky to dive into) that he has no problem taking credit for. Having a hand in ending Roe V Wade. If Trump had anything to do with whatever this big scary nothing is, Trump would take credit for it.

You can't win with these idiots. They're mentally deranged. TDS is very real.

Do you know the meaning of the word, "CULT" ?

They basically want to do everything that will make America a worse place for the vast majority of people, and a better place for the ultra wealthy.

And also, they want to make sure that everyone in any position of power within the federal government is a Trump loyalist.

If you want ti stop this, you have to vote for whichever democrat is on the ballot, even if it’s a corpse.

Otherwise that’s a wrap, folks. Once the Heritage Foundation appeals to Trump’s vanity and he lets them implement that plan, it’s a wrap for America.

i blame trump for much of this. he is a force of destruction and an inciter of chaos, denial, fantasy and hatred. we have lost more since his political entrance than most people realize. all of this honestly breaks my heart. i mean that sincerely. its just terribly sad and tragic to see this happening.

i know two families who are literally moving out of country largely because of this and i know of one other through a good friend. but they all have the means to do so easily.

when trump won the election i woke up in the middle of the night filled with a dread i have never known in my life. it cant mean anything to anybody else but to me it was existential. the sense of danger for the country with trump in office was staggering to me.

to see people mocking that sentiment and failing to see any of the damage he does is genuinely heartbreaking to me.

And the Dems are losing theirs trying to deal with it. They are horrible at messaging. Maybe not having billionaire think tanks behind them has something to do with it but they need to change it up.
it would also help if they would run somebody fit for the office.

I've debated it myself. I've had offers to run gyms in around 3 Countries, Countries where my kids would go to University and get health care for free, and I'd likely be an Olympic level Coach. Bit quite frankly I love my Country, the American people who arent giant d*ckheads bent on being as inflammatory as possible, and I dont like the idea of running from a fight...even if only a proverbial one.

Here I will give you a silver lining because I came across a video earlier that reminded me of you even though I dont know you at all. Lol But judging by this there is a growing sentiment among non-lunatic Christians that Trump and MAGA Christianity are actually destructive to the Faith:

The difference between now and maybe ANY other time in US history-

We've seen a US president /former reality star/ achieve a demagogue/cult status in which his followers

are not just willing to usurp democracy and the constitution at his behest, some will forfeit their own lives for him over country.
Some of those simpletons are right here in this thread.

Which makes the insanity of project 2025 a more tangible reality.

Tbch Trump is very similar to Andrew Jackson. Almost a 1/1 thing except Trump is too fat to be a general of anything and hes got a more friendly relationship with the courts.

Jacksons whole appeal was very similar to MAGA and so was the reaction to it which put people who had nothing in common in the same political party which subsequently exploded.

The centrists need to take a page out of the French Centrist's book and step aside for people to the left of them. I watch a lot of Congressional hearings and there are plenty of Firebrand Progressive Democrats willing to turn up the heat in response to the rising fascism, the problem is in the National Party messaging as a whole they will be stymied for sake of Civility Politics...a notion being maintained while the other side is openly suggesting they're going to engage in violence if they dont get their way.

I actually think Trump has slightly less redeeming qualities than Jackson, and that's saying a lot. At least you could say that tragic deaths further contributed to Jackson's persona, and that War hardened him. Trump is just a soft pampered (literally) trust fund brat who thinks violent thoughts about anyone who tells him "no."

I think so too. It’s a tough call that may be harder to make as the days pass. Now’s the time. Waiting until after the convention would cause harm and distrust. And god forbid he has something happen that causes him to not be able to continue.
The time is now.
Shoulda went with I have Parkinson’s and passed the torch. The opportunities are presenting themselves.
Totems or runes or talismans. The signs are the and the time is now or never.

I do think Jackson as an individual was more of a threat whereas Trump is more of a sympton of capitalism whose role as antagonist could have very easily been filled by someone else. Napoleon was also only a few years in the ground and the threat of Jackson Napoleoning the US was far more real and present. If there is hard fascism in the US it is almost certain to be commanded by someone other than Donald Trump.

Jackson had a more traditional crybaby backstory that made him evil whereas Trump is more just a normal evil dude. They are both symptoms of their time though. Trump is very much a good symbol for the boomer generation and why younger generations hate them. He is every negative boomer trait you could parody all roled up into one.

i am DEEPLY embedded in contemplative Christianity. i can tell you man that i have not met a single trump supporter. i know evangelical Christianity has kind of always been really shallow and vapid and that there are many other forms of Christianity that are also but honestly man... i do not think it is possible to be doing your inner work and support trump. i really dont.

he is like a comic book representation of EVERYTHING Christianity should root out of you and that you have to die to to become a decent person. the arrogance, the self centeredness, the people pleasing, the greed, the bullying, the lying, the bravado, the hatred, the inciting of discontent, the manipulation, the vulgarity and the insecurity etc.

you simply cannot be doing your inner work at all and like that guy. anywhere you go in this country if trump is in the room he is most likely the sickest person in the room.

also no way am i leaving the country either. im going to stay here and try to do good.

It should be added that the messaging of billionaire think tanks is so good that it has convinced millions of people to blame George Soros for all their woes.
