Video 1: Thats with less than 6 months of boxing training backyard style boxing. I was 21 in that sparring video.

Sparring with my bro - I'm 23 in this video - I'm the guy that starts from the RIGHT side.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgQmWfwlDDU

I'm gonna make some more videos. I can jump rope like mayweathers now and I am pro status with the double bag and speed bag. Hell I can do both with my eyes closed haha. I've come a long way from being a fatty at 19-20 to where I am at now at the age of 27 turning 28 this year. The only regret is that I wish I could have started at a young age like at 8 years old.

LIFTS & STATS (since some ppl were curious)

Max Deadlift: 405 @ 155 lbs .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PM-RIe5mkaU (YES I KNOW SHIT FORM)
I don't know what my max deadlift is now but probably over 430. I usually do sets of 265 going up to 315 just for reps.
Max Bench: 275 @ 180-185ish (depending on water weight/bloat)
I usually rep 225 x 5 or 25 reps. or if I do Dumbbells I do 100 x 8 for 5 sets
Max Squat: 295
I usually rep 155 for reps on light days. On heavy days I rep 225 x 5, ass 2grass
Shoulder Press DB - not sure on max but last shoulder workout I did:
80x 8, 80x7, 80x 6, and 80 x 5. DB shoulder press is my most recent progress with gains. Bench,Deadlift, Squat has been pretty much the same.

Speed Bag Work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAse_ilyAnA

Congrats man. Is bigger where you want to be?

What was your diet like in the initial cutting phase from 06-07?

Hey SylarNY,

Back then I counted calories and tried not to go over 2500 on workout days and 2000 on rest days. That allowed me to drop about 20 lbs or from 176 to 154ish my lowest. Specifically for food, mostly meats chicken, whey shakes, and fruits before working out. Stayed away from fast food. Mostly all water for drinks, diet coke if i had to have soda. Didn't drink alcohol or go out much. I was 20 back then so I couldn't anyways.

For now yeah I'm comfortable at 180-185 since I am not sparring or competing with anyone at the moment. However, ideally I think I would like to get back down to at least 170 but more lower body fat % (better cardio, faster etc.). Maybe get back into boxing/sparring at that weight.

The third and maybe the fourth are when u look good.
Anything after looks overdone.....especially the last one.

It's kinda like ppl who get cosmetic surgery . At first they look good , then they figure if one procedure made me look good then 10 of them should make me awesome !
Tragedy .

Just IMO

Damnnnnn, like a boss.

Congrats man.

since youre asian, did you just cut out rice?

That is quite the transformation, and I think you should be proud of what you've accomplished. This thread can serve as motivation for many of us out there who have a desire to be in better shape than they currently are, myself included.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi guys,

Chippity Choppyity Chop

1.) Sparring with my bro - I'm 23 in this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgQmWfwlDDU

2.)I'm gonna make some more videos.

3.)Thought Chop

1.) Return of SAAMAG garage pseudo-brawls? Yawn...

2.) This is the measure of effective martial artist? Moderately effective training tool maybe. Mayweather sometimes performs basic drills in an impressive yet silly fashion for a novice to emulate.

3.) Congratulations on loosing fat and gaining muscle this is never an easy task to perform and maintain. Don't ask another man for his opinion of your physique, you're not a competitive athlete or bodybuilder. If you look in the mirror and enjoy what you see, my congratulations are in order. Tattoos are mirror photos.... Errr.

Why is this in the stand up section? I don't give a shit how big your muscles are, and watching you beat up a little fat guy with no training does not motivate me.

Do you have something more recent? The 'new' video of you is from 2008. Also, which one is you in the first AND second video (I know you said "the bigger guy" in the second one but its hard to tell due to the camera)?

Agree with last two........especially about posting videos from 5 years ago and saying "Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
That worked for Ozymandius , not so much for regular Joes.

Now if you had just put all that hard work and dedication into posting you could have been a black belt on Sherdog, like me.

Now that's something to really be proud of.

At the least it means you had opinions and the conviction to state them .
I bet a few of them were even worthwhile.

Just out if curiosity, what's your lifting routine look like ts? Judging by your build its probably some sort of split routine that focuses mainly focuses on arms. What are your numbers on the three main lifts? You should really post this in the strength and conditioning forum. They will have a lot more to say about your progression, and there are many educated strength athletes on that forum.

I'm curious to see if he actually worked his legs underneath those pants, actually.

I did it pretty much like this:

Mon - Back/Bi
Tues - Chest/Tri
Wed - Legs/core (Squat and DL's)
Thurs - Shoulder/Bi again
Fri- Light full body
sat - Light full body
Sun - off

M-F Lift 1 hour usually at my work like 11-12, or 12-1
M-F Box (or at the time when i was boxing still) 6-7pm
Sometimes 2 classes (kettlebells+boxing) or (kettlebells+crossfit) mix it up sometimes.

bench 275 max
squat 295 max
deadlift 405 max (when i was 155,) i havent maxed since then but since im 180ish now i think I can probably do 425+ deadlift.
