Cycling Pro Discussion 4: Transfers Everywhere, Vuelta & Beyond

Roglic looking much better than he did a month ago at Algarve

Dont really like him going for Paris - Roubaix but I quess he'll do what he wants to do. Just dont see how he is going to create separation. Or maybe his 65kg ass is simply going to float over the cobbles?

If he crashes and can't ride the TdF in top shape, then I will be very sad.

Otherwise I am thrilled that he is riding it. Makes Paris-Roubaix 2x more interesting for me (and I already love it)

I want Pogacar to keep taking on big races that don't perfectly suit him (well, there are only a couple of those but you know what I mean).

Impressive MvdP attack at 40k to go.

I don't understand Johan Bruyneel saying that if MvdP could stay with Pogacar on the Cipressa then Pogacar won't drop him 'on the two climbs of the Ronde'.

Notwithstanding my disdain for the USPS cheating, I have tremendous respect for Bruyneel's commentary until that comment^^^. First off, there are a many climbs (16) at the Ronde and it is very difficult to control unlike the first 200km of MSR. Secondly, the Koppenberg is a motherfucker with 44k but just 6k before that you have the Paterberg at 13% with 20% grades at times. Pogacar on that kind of grade is going to be brutal even if he's not at his best.

Saddened by current Wout state. Is he reduced to big boy domestique time trialer?

I just dont see how Mvdp survives if both are at or very close to form they had at MSR. How can you even compare MSR climbs that are done at almost 40 kph?

Hot take Flanders prediction: Pog is going to hammer and the blows just wont stop coming.

Matty Bennett an emerging talent, dominant victory.

MVDP will dominate PR after he wins Flanders that is.

Had to laugh today with Robbie and Carleton doing commentary at Catalunya.

Some people positively loath Kirby (looking at you TRD) lol

And I'm 100% justified. I'll tell you all, I turn off the sound when that retard is talking. Josie Bean is much more knowledgeable and pleasure to listen to.

Rob Hatch is annoying as well. "No, no, no, no, no, no ...".

Say no again motherfucker, I dare you.

Pedersen is just always going to ride like Pedersen, I guess. He rides like he is the strongest guy in the race and occasionally he is and he gets the win.

Nice win by Roglic. Looking forward to seeing Roglic vs. Ayuso at the Giro.
