"Soudal-QuickStep have now confirmed that Evenepoel sustained fractures to his rib, right shoulder blade and right hand."

..and bruising to his lungs after colliding with an open door of a postal delivery vehicle.

At least he wasn't snapped into two like the top tube of his SE SL8, crikey!

The double Olympic champion Remco Evenepoel suffered fractures to his rib, right shoulder blade and hand, his team, Soudal-QuickStep, said on Tuesday. According to Belgian media, the 24-year-old crashed into an open door of a postal vehicle while he was on a training ride in Oetingen.

Some Emirati probably paid the postman.

Maybe.

I thought aero is king died 2 years ago. Colnago just hopping on the aero train. 300+ grams heavier than the V4RS. Saves you 20 Watts when you're at 50 kmph. We'll see if Pog uses this outside of TT stages because organizers are trying to kill Pog on the mountain stages. Also, really ugly bike.

Anything is improvement over the V4RS which is porky AND slow. Still think Specialized has by far the best package, almost as aero as the fastest out there and very light.

The looks? Kinda growing on me tbh! At first I was

Just over a month until Tour Down Under!

Looks like a Bianchi oltre in white with BMC's tt seatpost style.

Agree with the s-works. It's like Pinarello and Canyon had a baby. Sexy enough but sensible.

Red Bull Bora planned tours:

Giro: Hindley, Martinez, Roglic
TDF: Martinez, Roglic, Vlasov
Supermarket starts: Hindley, Vlasov
I really think they should just be pushing Hindley for giro at this point, and roglic for vuelta.

Vuelta stage profiles, only Angliru finish is over 200km.

CX feels annoying to watch when you know that MvdP, Wout and PidCOCK who is not going to race at all this season are quite far above everyone else and those riders meet up in the same race like twice per season.

I agree completely. It's not like Roland Liboton or Albert Zweifel are going to pop up and teach the top road pros a lesson in cyclocross.

Tadej Pogačar has smashed the popular Strava KOM on the Coll de Rates climb in Spain, setting a time of 12:21 on the sought after segment on the Costa Blanca.

The current World Champion is in the area with UAE Emirates teammates as they wrap up a team winter training camp. Pogačar annihilated the climb as part of what appears to be a final ride before Christmas in Spain, uploading his data to Strava with the caption "Going Home".

The KOM on the climb was previously associated with Jonas Vingegaard and his former Continental team ColoQuick. Vingegaard famously took the KOM in 2018, setting a time of 13:02 on the ascent as part of a team time trial effort with fellow ColoQuick riders. Vingegaard later went on to sign for Visma-Lease a Bike with the Coll de Rates effort said to have played a part in the transfer.

Still, very impressive. The KOM that made Jumbo-Visma sign Vingegaard is now the 5th I think in that segment. Tadej taking everything that Jonas accomplished.
