They are right for wrong reasons. Pog can TT away if he can get a gap but I just dont see it happening. It did not happen on Cipressa, it did not happen on Poggio and it will be so much harder here.

I think MSR is a harder race to win for Pogacar than P-R. MSR is way too easy until the last 27km. P-R just takes chunks out of you starting at 110km to go. Pogacar's, "I have more efforts in me than you do" just doesn't work at MSR because there aren't enough efforts for others to burn through. P-R is different. You do 3min pursuit effort into 15 pave sectors and you're going to fuck all but 3 guys in modern pro racing.

I'll say this in favor of MvdP, no one -- and I mean no one -- has ever looked so good going 48km/h over cobbles.
