True.

Smart racing by Remco. He tried to go with Pogacar but when he went into the red, he backed off the throttle and smartly waited to form a small group.

When the chasers got it down to about 20 seconds, the race looked interesting.

By Remco standards, he did not even bitch out his fellow chasers that much.

He did what he could. Pogacar can be an impossible puzzle to solve.

If it wasn't for Pogi, Remco would probably have a couple more Monuments, between LBL and Lombardia. Such is the challenge of racing against the GOAT.

Ayuso is correct, Pogacar doing hard tempo is simply too much. On the flats maybe a few riders could catch but on a hilly parcours no one can do it.

"If you really want to win, you have to stay with him (Pogi) and that’s the really difficult part, of course. But I think if you’re racing to win, you’ve got to try to stay on his wheel, and if you explode, you explode."

Mr. Sexass. No pressure.

Only if MVDP is injured (like right now) or out doing xc side quests.

Maybe Pogacar lets Torito win today at Tre Valli Varesine?

Pogacar heads to the last "monument" as overwhelming favourite supported by insanely stacked squad with Torito, Majka, Novak, Sivakov, Vine and Yates.

All of which will be utterly hopeless against turbocharged Remco Evenepoel!!

plz no angre at the team car

give him Red Bull directly into his veins. NOW!

Kevin Vaquelin to ineos, that’s a good pickup

I feel that they are signing guys that are quite good but still not quite good enough, granted not many of them around. Vaquelin had great Tour but I really do wonder if he can still improve.

And they dont really have promising U23 guys either, August has been pretty damn invisible, granted that Paris Roubaix child abuse probably ruined him for good. Oxenberg took a KOM from Vingegaard and tahts about it, nothing to write home about even from junior races.

They are in a full rebuild at this point. I think they were really counting on Carlos Rodriguez to replicate his previous Tdf podium and he just wasn’t at that level

Simmons is a beast.

I've never raced (or even ridden) in this area. We visited Lake Como in 2023. If you're ever there, take the time to hike up into the mountains above the lake, the views are incredible.
