lmao.

I slightly favor Anderson, but I wouldnt be blown away if Wand got the win.

In his prime and all geared up, Wand had the stuff that could make Anderson shit himself.

Shogun in his prime son's prime Andy though.

I wish I believed this but idk... I love Shogun to death, but prime Anderson is just a fucked up human being. When I need a reminder I just watch the jab knockout. That shit is so horribly fucked you start questioning if people like that even operate under the same laws of physics as the rest of us do... Tho I guess Shogun was pretty durable (and all too often to his own detriment)...

Prime Anderson vs prime Shogun is a more appealing fight for me.

with stomps and knees on the ground, of course

At LHW with roids allowed under Pride rules?

Andy gets axe murdered.

I'd go with Anderson, but I think Wand's chances would go up in a ring, and if foot stomps and soccer kicks were allowed.
Even in the ring, I'd go with Anderson, but you gotta remember, prime Wand had an iron chin, he used to cut people off in the ring, and force them to trade. He had tons of KO power too.

It's possible that Wandy could throw a headbutt, like he did against Guy Mezger, get away with it, and then win by KO.

Silva!

Srs though, 2003-04 Wand in a ring w/ all the trimmings & and Pride (overall damage/threat of finishing) judging, but I'd take 2008-09 Anderson if it was in the wider spaces of the cage and Unified round scoring.

Call me crazy but at 185 I'll pick Anderson and at 205, Wand.both by tko

Wanderlei has the kind of style that is tailor made for a guy like Anderson. I take Anderson Via TKO in round 1 or 2.

It's weird how time can erode a fighter's reputation. Anderson's strength of schedule at 185 lbs is looking weaker as time goes by, and while Wand was on top at 205 lbs in PRIDE he was getting dominated by also-rans like Takase.

We just saw Andy struggle with a ring-rusted welterweight with decent boxing skill.

The Wanderlei that flatlined Sakuraba, smashed Rampage and won a newspaper decision over Cro Cop in his K-1 prime makes surprisingly short work of the Spider, IMO.

Wandy got in there with Cro Cop, and Mark Hunt. Andy wouldn't do a damn thing to him. He'd take him down, and pound him out.

Voted Wandy by mistake.

Anderson

Chuck beat wandy by being a more technical striker, having range on wandy and by counter striking. Anderson does all that and better only has less power than Chuck

Anderson takes it via a dominant decision. I just don't see anderson finishing prime wandy a tko let alone k.o. win is very optimistic thinking.

Anderson by T(KO). I don't see how Wandy wins this fight with his wild striking.

Wandy managed to get hit with the same counter straight from cro cop three times in less than five seconds. There's no way he could ever deal with Andy's counter striking.

I'd say Anderson by Decision. But Wand by (t)KO is a possibility.

Wandy's style plays perfectly into Andy's style.

Andy via tko or ko

Anderson picks him apart and (T)KO's Wanderlei.

An aggressive brawler like Wanderlei would play right into Anderson's strengths. Andy would pick him apart just like CroCop did in his 2nd fight with Wandy.

I can't source it, but back in the day, you'd always hear stories about how Pele and Anderson would beat up the Chute Boxe guys in the gym.
