Prime Tim Kennedy was a monster

People shit on Tim for his SF career and outspoken nature. He was a beast.

Took a course with him and his training company. Best fucking class I've been to as a cop.

He is a fucking monster in the mat.

Cool dude on the range and a good instructor.

Not that i actually care to see the guy fight again but why did he retire anyway. Not like he took that much damage in his career.

Was it UFC politics or some shit?

Now I could be wrong but weren't several of his ufc fights wars? I somehow missed a big portion of his fight career so maybe I'm just thinking of highlights that made them look like wars.

Canderson got beat down for 4.5 rounds by Chael, who was shit compared to Kennedy.

If Roger Gracie didn't submit Kennedy, neither is McDonald's black belt Anderoid

Oh and Tim was also a part-time fighter and still accomplished all of these things
Does he get to use the same amount of testosterone that Chael had in his system?

That's some serious bias you got. Can't take you seriously when you refer to a fighter as "Canderson".

Canderson
Cannedy
Cannor
Candor
CanSP
Canbib
Canny ‘El canuy’ Ferguson
Yoel Canmero
Canbert Whittacan
Canry Cejudo
TJ Cannishaw
Max Cannaway
Canmaru Uscan
John “Cans” Bones
Daniel Canmier
Stipe Miocan
Francis Ncannou
Junior Dos Cantos
Tycan Woodly
Domican Reyes
Donald Canrone
Jacan Souza
Canvin Gastelum
Israel Adescanya
Thiago Cantos
Raphael Dos Canjos
Chael Soncan
Can shamrock

I can keep going?

Wonder how his career would have been, if he took up MMA right away instead of having a stint in the army.

Gotta love how idiots bring up 1st Chael/Anderson fight m use it as some sort of “evidence”

In the 1st fight Anderson was injured n shael was 4 x over the allowed t/e limit

If the rematch Anderson finished him with ease

Kennedy would t fare any better. Anderson would just pick him apart

He was getting old and clearly wasn't going to compete for the title. I also feel like he wasn't that emotionally attached to MMA, so leaving it behind would be pretty easy for him.

I was with you up until the last part about Silva. Bro you fucked up there, everything was going so well.

I'd say he'd be competitive with Silva, but Prime Silva most likely tko's him.

It’s just annoying that he’s not a “Quiet Professional”

Anderson banged your gf or why so much haterade towards him?

Yeah, Tim was very good.

That said, Luke did beat him pretty easily.

Tim is criminally underrated in Sherdog but also is not some GOAT god. He was highly skilled and fun to watch. I also like how he annoyed Sherdoggers.

This man has a very underrated resume and is one of the GOAT MMA grapplers

- Lost a highly compeitive decision to a prime Jacare that many thought he won
- Lost another highly competitive decision to a prime Luke Rockhold
- Beat prime Bisping, Lawler, Manhoef and TKOd Romero but was robbed

Kennedy is also one of the only human beings ever to say they outgrappled the great Roger Gracie.

Tim had some good striking and great power as well, showing this when he sent Natal to the shadow realm with one punch and bounced Yoel's head around like a speed bag.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Tim Kennedy would've destroyed any version of Anderson Silva. Anderson isn't doing shit to Kennedy off his back, which is where he'd be for 99% of the fight.
What was he robbed off vs Yoel? Dude was losing both rounds until having a 10second flurry thanks to a glove grab. The ref stopped the fight for what the cutman did, not fault of Yoel or his corner.
