Prime Rumble vs Jiri: Who wins?

Do we make clones to get this fight to happen? I’m in. Jiri via Jiriness but if Rumble via Rumbleness happened I wouldn’t be surprised.

Rumble had a tendency to fade if he couldnt get his way, but with Jiris lack of defence and Rumbles power I think Jiri getting KTFO pretty early is the most likely outcome.

my first guess is rumble because power and jiris poor defense. but he wilts really fast when things don’t go his way, and jiri is both durable and unpredictable. so it’s a toss-up.

overall, i think jiri and rumble are in the same boat—extremely talented, extremely dangerous, but fatally flawed contenders. neither are on the level of (prime) jones or cormier. it’s very fortunate for jiri that he came along when he did, though i do think he has a decent shot at beating the current, diminished version of jon jones.

rumble folds him like a lawn chair.

prime chuck got hit a lot by everyone, but it was mostly people who didn't have enough power to hurt him. when it was rampage, he got whooped twice. in his prime, rumble packed a whole lot more power than rampage did.

Jiri fought with very similiar fighter to Rumble back in 2013 - Martin Šolc (Notorious orbital breaker with insane punch power and Jiri was eating these bombs like a champ...)


BTW - Yes i know that GCF is not UFC and Šolc is not Rumble, but Šolc was definitely UFC material if he didnt end up in jail.

Question is can Jiri take Rumbles best shots? Rumble has underrated accuracy, and Jiri is very hittable. I imagine Rumble would be finding that chin early and often. Iffffff Jiri zombies his way through those punches I can see Rumble getting overwhelmed and getting choked out again. But I seriously doubt Jiri takes Rumbles punches.

Probably but Jones had the threat of the takedown. And he would have tried to wrestle a little bit early on just to make Rumble think about it.

Although Jiri might put up a better fight than people are suggesting, the rumble that came fresh from wsof( prime) that was taking heads like prime Xander- me thinks it would be curtains for Prochazka.
