the style you need to beat stipe is deadly, technical striking and good takedown defense. if you cant finish the fight with your striking and you cant stay on your feet, youre pretty well fucked. ive been saying it since before the FIRST junior fight, junior is stipe's toughest match up on the entire planet. very good hands, explosive power, good chin and godly takedown defense. its the perfect storm.

grapplers with decent striking are completely fucked against stipe. thats cain, DC, fedor, werdum.... who else?
