Social PRIDE events where you live?

Im glad people are getting sick of this stuff. I dont want public displays of sexual perversions on the streets and that includes heterosexual perversions and kinks or whatever you want to call them. that stuff belongs in private and is no business of mine or my kids. Parade around all you want but be decent. The vast majority in the west too find LGBTplus whatever sexual behaviours disgusting but we tolerate them. Some pretend to celebrate them but much less now. I also find the idea of most of my friends and acquaintances indulging in sexual activities disgusting as well.

I'm selling some wares at my local small town PRIDE event at the end of the month and people are already planning a protest even though it's in a general not kid park, and not parading the streets.

I'm not LGBTQ myself but a lot of what I'm selling is. Should I worry? Husband's going to be with me so physically I'm okay, my main worry is my mouth if someone says something hateful.

I used to go to pride events in LA and everyone was super nice and welcoming. I never noticed protesters but I haven’t been in about ten years. I would go to the big event where you pay or the street marches.

The vast majority? I'd love to see your stats on this.

And my event isn't a parade, it's an event. I'm dreading the heat but it should be a nice event, no one was displaying bondage or perversion last year, why should it be looked down on?

I'm just hoping the protesters are peaceful.

I can assume this is why there were no planned anti Pride protesters at last year's event.

Me as well. What kind of food will be there? And before some douche says it, yes, there probably will be sausages or some sort of phallic meat.

I really don't know. I assume our regular Mexican trucks. It isn't going to be big enough for out of towner trucks to come in I don't think.
