If I had children I'd never let them play at a house that had a dog like this.

I respect your opinion, and I know every dog is different, but my dogs are especially protective of kids that come over. The kids are the safest thing in the house. And when I visit other homes with like minded owners such as me, it is also the case.

I'll agree though. These dogs aren't for folks that are not willing to put in the time to train them right.

Never heard of a Presa in Australia but some people have Bullmastiffs. Funnily they are usually calm dogs...

I am a very proud Presa owner for 1 months and all I can say that this is an unbelievable dog and I highly recommend to own that breed.If you think about owning a extreme dog this is right choice.

My wife is 120lbs with no combat training and likes to take walks, a large animal such a preso, corso, or doggo argentino offers great companionship and protection by simply being next to her. People are real nice when they are around a dog that scares them. We have a boxer/Am. Bulldog mix and mastiff and people do not approach my wife when she walks with either of those dogs.
