Presa Canario is one badass dog

Incredible and noble dog, specially for farm guarding. I believe it has been used also for wild boar hunting one on one.

I have been around many of them, and they are cool.

One thing for sure, you better dont break into someone's property and be found by this dog, specially if the owner is not around. You might end up dead or seriously injured.

I feel that bro! Presa Canarios are essentially mastiffs from the Canary Islands.

I have a year old Cane Corso which is an Italian mastiff breed and she's the best dog I've ever owned in my life. I've owned pits, huskies, dobermans, and rotties, but my Corso is definitely the best breed I've owned.

The mastiff family is an amazing breed as long as you're willing to put up with tons of expensive food, slobber, and a dog that's seriously family oriented. My girl is always in my business. If I'm in bed, she's either in my face or laying under my legs. If I'm walking around the house then she's right next to me. When we go to the park she runs off for a second then comes right back.

They just have guardianship in their blood. I haven't had to do any protection work with her to get her to watch the house. I could honestly sit down and talk about how much I love my dog for hours.

A friend of mine had a corso for a while (tore both ACLs and had to be put down). He was a great dog. I was the only person my friend trusted to come over and walk the dog if the family couldn't get home to do it. We spent a good 5 minutes negotiating whether or not the dog would let me into the house.

Agreed but there was someone in the Hyena thread at the time talking about his game pit. It was one of the funniest threads I have ever seen. Plenty of people who seriously though a pitbull could hold its own.

I was like hyenas bite strength was 4 to 5 times stronger then a pitbull. Top it off hyenas have skin that is close to the density of a lion. Pitbull would be a chew toy for the hyena.

A friend has a presa that he bred, he kept the biggest male so he now has two. One of the best dogs I've ever been around. So smart, so confident, so gentle, just great energy. I'll only have a rottie or a presa!

I am a very proud Presa owner for 1 months and all I can say that this is an unbelievable dog and I highly recommend to own that breed.If you think about owning a extreme dog this is right choice.
