click for image, I still can't figure this out.
Had to remove two broken fence posts with a jack like this on Saturday. It's not as easy as youtubers made it look. I snapped 2 chains and two 4" by 4" . I'm sooo sore.
Picture doesn't work, at least for me.

I disagree with that, he's in his prime years, one of our own, was fucking mint last season. Yeah he's playing absolute gash at the moment but most of our team are and you don't go shit over night. I'd give him another season to get back to where he was, if he's still shit by then I'd say we have to cut our losses. The problem is with the team and not just our Marcus, he's a prime example of that imo.

Even last season wasn’t that great, imo. He had an undeniable 3 month purple patch, but first 15 games and last 15 games he was his normal self.

Guy has been a first team regular for 8 years, and for 75% of that time he has been average or worse, imo. Yet he is paid (and praised) like he’s been Salah or de Bruyne.

Oh but they will. Liverpool fans are notoriously delusional. If you asked one at the start of the season who would win the title they'd say Liverpool every single year. Even when Roy Hodgson was in charge.

For the record I'd have him in my top 5, great manager.

Don’t disagree. But the top 3 seems pretty set in SAF, Pep and Mourinho.

Klopp and Pool have been quite unlucky as if Man City didn’t exist they’d probably have dominated the league for the last 5-6 years. Kinda like Andy Murray in tennis.

If they can win the league again this year, that’d really help his legacy.

Exactly, he has always been a purple patch player and a kick and dash merchant. Once a fullback gets a read on him he vanishes from the game altogether.

I know you're a teensy weensy bit of a pessimist but wasn't that great last year? He scored 30 in 56! For a winger! Whichever way you slice that it's great season, not just a good season. And not playing in a team as good as citeh or the YSB's.

Yes he's overpaid but that is the club's fault and not his. And yes he's been consistently inconsistent, fully agree on that, I just wouldn't get rid of him now personally. We know when he's good he's good, I'd keep the faith. And also it would be rare you cut your losses on a local lad who was an academy graduate who set the world on fire when he broke through. Antony can fuck right off but I'd stick with Marcus. I'll admit some bias, I like the lad :)

Jesus, bit harsh! I disagree mate. 3 seasons in the last 5 he scored more than 20 goals, that's a pretty long purple patch and before that he was a kid (who was fucking great for a kid).

Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy, just think he’s overrated, tbh.

If he’d come up at Everton instead of at United, can’t help but think he’d be nowhere near as well regarded.

I’m guess if you broke last season down to 3x thirds Rashford’s stats would be :oops::(

To his credit, he’s had a knack of always contributing goals/assists, even if out of form. I’ll maintain his career breakdown is something like 10% excellent, 20% good, 40% average, 30% poor.

Problem is he’s still above Martial, Sancho and Antony in the pecking order.

Same time, if someone is willing to offer stupid money for him, I’m taking. Another 18 months we might end up with a 300k p/w bench water.

I can see the overrated thing, suppose it depends on who you’re talking to. 3 of the last 5 season’s he’s scored more than 20,
For a winger that is damn good imo. Scored on his debut, international debut (can’t remember all the stats now but sure you know where I’m coming from) even at Everton that would be noticed. You have a point yeah but I’m throwing some caveats in there.

Nobody is 100% good but again fair point, one of his problems is the 30% poor he’s absolutely shite and a total passenger. That does piss me off too. When he’s bad he’s a waste of space.

That make it seems like he shouldn't be, but the real problem is that he absolutely deserves to be above those three in the pecking order. We need someone that can challenge for a starting spot on their merit rather than someone else's poor form or shite attitude.

Not at all.

I’m saying our best forward (Rashford) isn’t good enough, let alone the second, third, fourth best etc.

The only reason I can see not to accept a good deal for Rashford is that there are others need moving off first…..though I fear we’re probably stuck with Antony.

When you put it like that I can find no fault in your logic, and it makes me sad.
What do you make of the seeming refusal of our wingers to feed our new striker? It seems to me that everyone's worried more about padding their personal stats than actually winning, which results in neither happening.
