The Leagues Cup has clubs from México in it. Do you have any idea what that means? I'll tell you. That means that it has some of the most powerful clubs in the ENTIRE CONTINENT.

You were the one that was in the Premier League thread celebrating the 2015 MLS Cup. You even had it in your profile. Your profile said something along the lines of, "2015 MLS Cup Champions."

I specifically remember that your avatar was a gif of Nat Borchers (back when he was in Timbers, obviously).

Do you ever think that a GLORIFIED FRIENDLY TOURNAMENT LIKE THE MLS CUP would actually have clubs from México in it?

Make no mistake, xtramob. I'll definitely remember these messages IF AND WHEN someone like Salt Lake eliminates Timbers this year.

It doesn't necessarily HAVE TO BE Salt Lake. If and when someone like Football Club DALLAS or Los Angeles Football Club eliminate Timbers this year, I'll definitely remind you of it.

I'm not saying that Salt Lake, Sporting Kansas City, Football Club Dallas, Los Angeles Football Club, or anyone else will eliminate Timbers this year. I'm saying that I'll remind you of that event happening if and when it happens.

The fact is, the clubs from México are the standard by which every single club in the entire CONTINENT has to measure itself by.

The clubs from México are in the Scotiabank Champions League, the Leagues Cup, and the Campeones Cup. Therefore, those competitions take precedent over any GLORIFIED FRIENDLY TOURNAMENT that you care about.

Keep in mind that I had a wonderful time watching the 2020 MLS Is Back Tournament. That was the title that Timbers captured last year.

Furthermore, I'd love to remind you that I had a lot of fun watching the Final of 2015 MLS Cup. That was the title that Timbers captured in the year 2015.

In my opinion, you should take what xtramob says with a grain of salt. Most probably, xtramob has something against the tournaments that have clubs from México in them because he knows that PORTLAND TIMBERS can't even survive the Round of 8 in those types of epic tournaments.

By the way, Óscar Pareja (the head coach of Orlando City) said that the Champions League is why every single club exists. Most probably, Pareja would say the same thing about the Leagues Cup and the Campeones Cup.

I'll post the link to that quote that Óscar Pareja said after I find it. Even though I don't have the source available right now, Pareja definitely said that. Pareja said that when he was still the head coach of Football Club Dallas.

As you can clearly see here, the FIFA Club World Cup, the Scotiabank Champions League, the Leagues Cup, and the Campeones Cup are the competitions that ACTUALLY MATTER.
